These are great I definitely recommend getting the ones with the strap and the fit very well. I work in a steel mill as a welder and have had no problems with the sparks sticking to them or cracking them great durability. And you can't tell that they are on your feet because they are so light

Much higher quality straps than I was expecting. This product is very well made, and I highly recommend it. It is comfortable, easy to get on/off, you can lace the bottom on if you want and use the hook strap for the top. For cowboy boots it is perfect. A great value.

Offer good coverage for for work boot.

I actually bought these to go on my son's athletic shoes. He is a goalie on a ball hockey team, and he needed protection on the top of his feet. They work perfectly! I was surprised at how hi-end these are. Several people have asked me for the link to them, as their goalies are having the same issue. Super easy to put on/ off no-lace shoes! A great value!

The guards themselves are fantastic. I work with steel pipe all day and 2.5 years after buying them they are still going strong and have protected me, through several pairs of boots. The downside are the straps. Seems about every 6 months one of the straps that goes on the underside snaps. This is typically when they separate/flip up at the hinge when they are flexing and nothing is holding the lower section in place. This wouldn't really be a problem except getting replacement straps is a nightmare. They are almost permanently "sold out." I feel like it's just a ploy by the company to force you into buying a complete pair that costs almost 3x as much as just buying the replacement straps when they are actually selling them.

I wear these on my boots 5-6 nights a week at Alro Steel. They require metguards and I require a specific kind of boot so I got these. So far my foot hasn’t been crushed. They can be a pain to put on because of the way the hinge is but once you do it a couple times it isn’t bad. It takes a little bit to get used to the straps. They put a bit of pressure on the tops of my feet before they got “broken it”. A week or two of that and now I don’t notice them. I had to bend the hooks of the straps over to make them stay in the holes. The straps are of good quality and design. They get HEAVY use from me and barely show the slightest sign of wear. The leather on my boots is in worse shape than the strap. I definitely recommend these to anyone who needs a solid metguard.

Trash broke off in one day also u will lose the string easily by walking rather buy actual shoes waste of money I give it zero if I could

Took a bit to get it adjusted but once I got it right it stays in place and I haven't had to mess with it since. Helped protect my foot from a couple pieces of plywood so far and still not damaged besides a few scratches.

fit my Dunlop rubber boots perfect, saved me from having to buy new boots with metatarsal protection

Way too expensive difficult to put on can’t use if you claim ladder that is plastic two piece item the joint is not very strong so it came apart and hard to join back, it’s use for external so not like it

Poorly designed. Tried on 2 different brands of boots. Protector does not stay in place, needs re-adjusted every few minutes. Hinge does not seem ergonomic tested. Returned the following day. Still awaiting refund. Would not recommend!

Make sure your boots are smooth on the toe or it will catch. Still works for what I need them for. Easily removable as well which is nice.
