this book has good instructions / ideas on creating stop motion studio videos. It also has some props and Lego characters as a bonus. I highly recommend this as a gift to a creative child interested in Lego and Lego animation.

I wasn't really a beginner in stop motion , I learnt stop motion all by myself. But I didn't know some cool tricks used in stop motion, this book helped me in it! The minifigures and other stuff are really well made, you get everything you need as a beginner, I would tell, that if you are an beginner in stop motion, then go for it!!

The book is beautifully written. It even helps adults like me to understand stop animation and how to make it. Its helping my son explore movie making. Ofcourse you will need a camera and an app/software to help putting the shots together.

This is my 3rd toy in the Lego Klutz series and this one is particularly very interesting in terms of helping the growing kids to develop their creative skills along with lots of happiness. This may be the building block for your kid to create a first static movie. Lots of fun...

My nine year old grandson is going to LOVE this! He is crazy about Legos, and crazy about animation. This Make your own Movie kit shows a step by step process for him to create his movie and animation, just by using his iPad or phone. He will get this for Christmas, and it will be one of his favorites! The colorful pages are super descriptive for each of the ideas, and it even shows you how to use lighting in the creation. I cannot wait to watch, and help, him make his own first movie. So fun!!! And an excellent value for the price. Very pleased with this awesome kit, and highly recommend!

Just as advertised and speedy delivery

A really great book, it has step by step directions on what you need to do to create animations. It gives ideas for storylines and scenes, comes with detachable backgrounds and is hours of fun. Also isn't tied to any software, just says to use a camera and movie software - we have a mac so just used iMovie. I really recommend this book.
