I really like the worksheets in the book. The stories are short and each page focuses on a different goal. These goals are achieved with a variety of activities. It is keeping my 7 y/o interested and not overwhelmed

This is an independent workbook and you will find your child picks it up and won’t want to put it down. It is engaging, fun and very helpful in a summer break, or developing reading comprehension analytical skills with real world practical applications.

There are a few activities that don't make a ton of sense for a kid to do independently but the majority of this book has been helpful to my 2nd grader in her reading comprehension.

Our favorite reading comp book. The paper is good, printing is nice, stories are short and easy. Very good introduction book for reading comprehension.

The media could not be loaded. Great book, we had it for 1st grade as well and enjoyed it throughout the year. The stories and tasks are short and easy, and variety of topics is great from fiction to informational. The questions don't go in-depth though if that is what you're looking for. Very high quality paper too.

This book arrived in perfect condition. We started with the 1st grade edition, and before that one was finished, we ordered this one. They are well structured books that help enhance the in school learning of the child. We do one or two activities from the book after school as “homework”. Some of the stories are funny and it’s nice that some of them have fun activities, instead of just read the story and answer the questions. My son wants to do the activities in the book.
