Terrific wire for the price and arrived quickly

I chose Southwire after I had used a different (generic) brand. The cover on the former turned brittle and cracked in the cold. This wire installed easily, remained flexible near freezing, easy to strip. Sticking with this brand next time.

Tons cheaper than the big box stores.

All is as advertised. I would buy this again for the value and quality.

Exactly what we needed for an outdoor wiring project

This worked perfectly for my outdoor firepit area. We have a subpanel outside for our pool equipment, so it was easy to trench from that panel over to our firepit. I added 3 couple outlets, one for our string lights (that one is mounted up high on the post to the left) and the other two for people who may want to charge their phone, plug in a heated blanket, etc. It's easy to run the wire now but would be a pain to add later once rock is added to the inside of the pit, so I tried to think ahead as much as possible. I ran liquid tight conduit from the panel to the firepit, it's unnecessary as this cable is made for direct burial, however I wanted the added protection as it's near our pool plumbing and wiring, and also wanted the option to pull additional wire if necessary. I ran the conduit from underground up the side of the posts, since they are backfilled with concrete I wanted the ability to pull wire through if something needed to be replaced rather than having the wire itself ran through the concrete and up the post. I used the Ideal wire strippers to remove the sheathing and also strip the conductor wires, worked great and worth the money.

Used to install mini split, ran along block wall into crawlspace. Worked perfectly no issues would recommend

Excelente para nuestro uso en la instalación de una nueva cabina eléctrica bajo concreto nuevo para nuestro garaje. El cable tiene 3 cables, uno para tierra. El cable es muy tieso pero pasó a través del conducto fácilmente (tiró). Empujar el cable era muy difícil, así que cambiamos. Tener los 3 cables combinados era mucho más fácil que tirar 3 cables difent y mucho más rápido. Vamos a utilizar el interior, ya que tenemos que tener un terreno en 2 lugares.

Good wire, was doing some higher amp wiring and wanted to be better safe than sorry. Used this inside which you can do ordered this standard because it was cheaper at the time but still rated more than good enough for in wall use, having extra and knowing it is also rated for burial is nice.

Me: DIY'er that takes on jobs I'm grossly unqualified to do. The cable: Almost to code wire. My wife: "You're gonna blow yourself up". The wiring project result: perfect.

Gets the job done and great price. Cheaper than the big box stores in my area.
