Very sturdy and quite robust.. well made and functional, for all important documents. money well spent.

I only wanted a fire proof box that was certified by a third party and this fits the bill well. It is robust with a quality lock, as you would expect for a German product. The only issue I have, hence 4 stars and not 5, is that the internal dimensions, as other reviews mention, is not quite big enough if your A4 documents are in a folder or envelope. They fold up at the sides. I accepted this because, on balance, this is still the best offered by Amazon and I do not have enough documents for the size limitation to be a problem.

After trying a few different options this one seems the best. Functions how it should. Lock is ok quality but its storage more so than a safe likewise the key is ok but its not a safe, fit an a4 size page in it. Very heavy you know it’s good quality

It could be a bit bigger so that you could fit A4 paper in it, but apart from that, it's a lovely, strong box.

The box itself is well built but the handle is very flimsy for the weight of the box. The one I was sent the handle was broken already but I asked for a refund because I didn't think the handle would last on a replacement. If I was going to bolt or concrete it to a floor then I wouldn't have cared the handle was broken/flimsy but I need to move it. Shame because its a nice fire-proof box otherwise.

Looks and feels very solid .

My first impressions. The box was sturdy and heavy. The lock worked ok. Just hope it will be good in the event of a fire and will protect important documents. I did wonder if it will protect against water from the hoses of fireman. I am satisfied with this purchase and hope the box never has to proved. Very pleased with the prompt delivery. The young delivery lady must be very strong to deliver this heavy item.
