This camera is a perfect entry level DSLR. Device includes 2 NIKKOR lenses, 18-55mm Normal Zoom and 70-300mm Telephoto Zoom. Both lenses are official, durable, and work excellent. Packaged kit includes durable and spacoius Nikon camera bag, mini rubber tripod (likely for tabletop usage), lense filters, cleaning kit, 2 additional prime lenses (both of which are of bad quality, so I won't even mention anything more about them), a 32 GB Sandisk SD, an external flash accessory, a Vivitar wireless shutter remote, and a couple extra items. For the most part, the kit is of great quality and will serve most photographers well to have. The actual DSLR is fantastic. It's perfect for beginners/students of photography and even video. Most options are easy to access without menus (with the exception of ISO, which had a shortcut toggle on the D3400. Not difficult to reach but takes an extra second.) The camera accepts the lenses very well and any installation (lenses, straps, etc) isn't difficult. The photo quality is astounding for entry level. You could use this camera on local jobs professionally if you wanted to. The camera allows many options for photo saving, even an option to save the picture in RAW & JPEG formats simultaneously. As for the video/movie options, the Nikon D3500 isn't lackluster. The only complaint I have is in the audio department. There is no external mic port. This isn't surprising after it's removal in the D3400, but it's still disappointing nonetheless. This review covers far from everything, but these are my initial thoughts about the device. Great purchase, would definitely recommend it.

I've had this camera for a while now and I am very happy that I bought it. Pictures are excellent quality. It's very easy to learn how to use, there are a ton of youtube videos with tutorials. It's compact and light weight, a great starter camera. I don't really use all of the accessories that it comes with, but the second lens was a huge bonus. Great value.

I just started using this camera. It is an upgrade from my old Nikon. They work very similar, but my pics are now BETTER than ever. Great camera and getting all the accessories was a major plus! Everything I need is right here!--and the price is fabulous. I was looking locally at the same camera, same price, but none of the accessories. This is a great deal! Thank you!

Took a trip to Yellowstone and bought this camera. Its easy to use. We only used the Auto setting and because of this, our pictures were not as vivid in color on the computer as they were in real life. Found out later it was because it was such a sunny day. We should have read up more on the uses of the camera so we could have made the correct adjustments. Other than that, and that was our fault, It is a great camera for first time users. Loved the extra zoom lens it came with.

My hobby is raising butterflies so I needed a camera better than my iPhone. After much research, I chose the NikonD3500 and chose this kit because it had everything I wanted and needed. i am not disappointed. The camera can be as easy or as advanced to use as you want...very intuitive and self explanatory with its in-camera guides. Takes beautiful pictures and love the bluetooth option. the kit itself is complete with everything you need...zoom lenses, filters, a small desktop-type tripod, cleaning tools, etc. The only thing I do wish was included was a hard-copy of the Manual, but that is available on-line along with great support from Nikon. Highly recommend.

I’m very happy with this camera. I’m just learning and so far it’s pretty easy to learn on as long as I use the user’s manual off line. The bundle has everything that I need. As others have stated, the remote does not work with this camera as the Nikon D3500 does not have IR, so I’m not sure why it’s still included in this bundle. Seems like a waste. The original package did not include the camera case, but I messaged the seller and they sent one out immediately.

Very neat little camera! I’ve never used a good camera before, but this is very straight forward to use. You get a lot of stuff in the bundle (maybe too much stuff). Still practicing using it, but so far it’s taken really good pictures! Also, it’s very cool that it can connect to your phone so uploading to social media or sending to grandma is that much easier!

Great all around camera, so many different settings and accessories to help get the perfect shot anywhere at anytime. Took a few days to get acquainted and figure everything out but once I did I was so happy with the results.
