Decent quality switch. My strat copy had an 'import' style switch with a broken 4th position (neck and middle). I couldn't be arsed to work out the various connections, so a direct replacement was ideal. Good build quality, reassuring click at each position and great value for money.

Just the look of this switch gives you the impression that it’s a quality product.Used it replace the switch on my Squire Strat, which had developed a fault and would not select the bridge pickup. Fitted perfectly and not difficult to install if you are OK with a soldering iron.

This 5 position switch is an ideal replacement to fit strat type guitars. The mounting holes line up perfectly and the action is nice and firm. It's not as deep as the original switches, so handy when space is at a premium, pehaps on a thinner body. The switch blade is longer than the original, so it will protrude further. There is no wiring diagram supplied, but just enter "kaish 5 position switch wiring diagram" into a search engine and you will find several resources. I am sure I shall be buying more of these!

Initially after installing this very nice well made switch I found I couldnt select the pickups correctly. You need to be aware that this switch is deeper than original and can short on the shielding of the recess. I had to route the pocket deeper, which is no small task!!!
