Allow it to soak a little to soften it. Would recommend this product as it has worked well on our dog! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decent product but not enough info on the packaging *by E***9 on 6 February 2022* I experienced the same issue as a previous review I read: I was sent the gel not the eye wash! Luckily it seems to do roughly the same thing but it does mean having to rinse the eyes with water first to remove the muck that has accumulated. The nozzle is also tricky to work out as there are no instructions on any of the packaging. Both times we’ve used it, we’ve taken the top off completely which is incorrect (only realised whilst investigating after traumatising the cat). This means far more than necessary has poured out in multiple directions. As our cat is slightly flat faced (hence the eye issues) because of the outpouring, a lot has gone up his nose causing him to sneeze nastily.
