Great buy
Good value. Easy to use. Great dry snack. Easy to reconstitute. Fresh. Slightly sticky to hands but not stuck together at all. Nice quality. No complaints on flavor.

Great quality, banana chips taste excellent, healthy choice!
These banana chips are great for a small snack. My dog can eat a couple two not too many otherwise he’ll get too fat but the taste of these they don’t taste processed or anything. They taste just like a banana chip, should taste. Their long lasting and have a shelflife of 10 years.

DELICIOUS blueberries, strawberries and bananas! Heed the stated volume!
In January 2026 I bought a #10-size can each of Augason freeze-dried blueberries (12oz for $28.60, $2.38/oz), strawberries (6.4oz for $20.60 @41%off, $3.22/oz), and banana chips (25oz for $12.32). I loved the taste of the blueberries and strawberries, but the banana chips tasted more like potato chips than bananas. This is the first time I've purchased freeze-dried fruit, so I didn't know what to expect and certainly am no expert. I'm just giving my first impression and preferences. I bought them to add to oatmeal and smoothies instead of frozen berries taking up my limited freezer space. I already know I won't get the bananas again, only because I love the taste and texture of still-green bananas though i didn't expect these to be the same. I just don't see myself eating them as much as the berries. The berries are pricey, especially the strawberries, but also delicious. I was disappointed to see you only get half the volume of the other two. Opening a can half full is a bummer, but the ad does say you're getting 6.4oz, not 12oz (blueberries) or 25oz (bananas). I poured all 3 cans into Cambro food-grade containers and, well there you go. Enjoy!

Not as sweet as expected, but tasty.
Not as sweet as expected and really hard. If you dental issues, these are hard enough to break a weak tooth. They are good and taste like they should.

I'm Bananas For These Bananas
You can't go wrong with this brand. I love that I know that no matter what I buy from them that it will be a quality product and packaged for longevity. Having a well prepared pantry is important to me and this is my go-to brand at a reasonable price. I love that I can buy this in bulk and leave it knowing that it is packaged to last. Open the can and you are off. You get a lot of product for the price. Don't let the weight of the can fool you. I like that this is not a chemical nightmare. I try to have item on hand for in the event of an emergency. I look for items that are packaged well, travel well, don't require a lot of additional ingredients, are flexible for how they are used, and will act as comfort food. This fits the bill. These can be eaten alone or added to meals such as oatmeal My rabbits love that I buy these. They are their favorite treat (in moderation).

Sweet, Shelf-Stable, Snackable.....and my encourage you to buy more!
Stashing snacks for the apocalypse (or just a rainy day)? These Augason Farms Banana Chips come in a giant can #10 can and last for ages (up to 10 years!). They're also a big ol' bag of sweetness, thanks to sugar and honey. The good stuff: • Last forever: Perfect for prepping or just stocking up on snacks. • Big bag o' chips: Great for families or if you like having a lot of options around. • Sweet and tasty: Most people seem to dig the flavor. • Resealable can: Keeps the chips fresh after you open it. Things to keep in mind: • Sugar overload: These are pretty sweet, so be mindful if you're watching sugar intake. • Not for everyone: Some folks find them too sweet. (We think they are perfect!) • Pricey upfront: The big can might seem like a good deal per ounce, but it's still a big chunk of change. • Not quite natural: There's some artificial banana flavoring in there. Overall, these chips are a decent choice if you're looking for a long-lasting, sweet snack. Just remember, they pack a sugary punch, and the giant size might not be for everyone.

Good reports
Really don't know what to say here. I have done a ton of research into what's the best brands to store for long term. I.e prepping.... It's not a very big market in the UK so I got these important via Amazon USA. The brand has a big following in the USA.

Decent Flavor & Size, 10 year Expiry
Initially bought this for emergency food supply but felt the need to open & check at least a few cans to see whether I can rely on this brand for long term food storage. Broke 1 can opener (cheap one) so must use a good quality one. After some sweats finally managed to open part of the can & poured the content into a bowl. Surprisingly the size was quite generous. I managed to fill 2 Mylar bags (quart size) , a 500-600ml mason jar and still have plenty of leftover. The banana chips are not as crispy as the freeze dried fruits. Upon checking, they are indeed dehydrated. But the taste is quite decent and not too sweet. I'd prefer if they were not coated in sugar but given its 10 year shelf life I still think it is worth to keep for emergency. Bought on discount at around SGD 20 each so it is quite good value for money. One thing to keep in mind is that the can is quite hard to open so it is better to remove the paper covering of the can beforehand, especially for items that do not have extra Mylar packaging (inside the can). Mine was shredded when I struggled to open the can and could accidentally mix with the content of the can. Overall I am quite happy with this purchase.
