Fit my shower, saved my house!

Great drain, they advertise it as a 41/2 but it’s only a 41/4, had to send it back, Lowe’s and ace hardware offers similarly the same drain minus the test plus for 1/2 the price

This shower/tub drain fitting is listed as 4.5" diameter. After ordering and receiving it, the actual measurement turned out to be 4.25". Item returned. It is a robust fitting designed to be glued to a PVC drain pipe. The description of the depth of the fitting is inaccurate as well. When installed, it will measure 2 3/8" inches from the underside of the shower basin mounting surface.

The drain looks and work well but was missing the two screws to hold the drain cover on.

It was easy to install.

Ordered this drain on 9/14/21, didn't get it until 10/5/21. After reading the description and being told it would " fit perfict its universal" i ordered the lasco drain, received an AB&A drain that is too big and will not work. I could've went to homedepot an bought this for half the price instead of waiting almost a month for the wrong thing.
