I LOVE BulkSupplements! Their products are great and often when you purchase something from them you are offered a free product of your choice just for agreeing to give an honest of review. And honestly, I have never ordered something from them that I did not love, including this one. I have ordered probably 15 to 20 of their products and just keep ordering more because they are excellent products for a great price. I like having stuff bulk rather than pay for capsules etc as it is much more cost effective and most of it I simply put in my smoothie mix and you don't even notice the taste. I take this pure powder L Phenylalanine from BulkSupplements as it is pure and you can take the dosage that you need. It helps to balance my dopamine that my body is missing causing me mood imbalances. I definitely recommend this one. Easy to take. I take 1/8 tsp morning and 1/8 tsp afternoon and I am balanced in my moods and thoughts. Was on anti depressants for years, made the switch to amino acids and it works so much better. I love BulkSupplements brands because they are pure and easy to adjust your dosage levels and very inexpensive. They last a long time.

I don't drink coffee or use caffeine. I have found this product helpful on how I feel overall. I have taken it three times and have had good results so far. It seems if I eat just a little bit while I take it it works the best. So far I have taken 1/4 of a teaspoon level and put the powder right in my mouth and let it dissolve and then swallow. Not the best tasting, but I can handle it for a couple of minutes. I most likely will be able to up my dose at least a little bit. I would recommend this product if taken per directions.

I'm 52 and have struggled with Low BP for about 5 years. My BP used to be 110/70 on the money every time. Now the top number is often in the 90's and the bottom number in the 60's, especially after eating. Low BP makes me feel lethargic and tired. I use 1/4 to 1/2 tsp a couple of times a day. Sometimes it increases my BP to normal range and sometimes it doesn't. L-Phenylalanine is an Amino Acid that is considered "Essential" to get from food everyday in order to make Tyrosine. I'm going to continue to take this supplement a couple of times a day and plan to give an update in a month or so to let others know how it works over the long-haul. Well it didn't give to me the buzz that I was expecting, I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt by using different dosages. Overall however I do feel some degree of focus. But the reason I'm not that enthused is that it's no better then a lot of other things that I've tried in the past. I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt and will post again soon once I get this nailed in terms of what it can do for me.

The product itself is good. I like that because of its potency, it only requires a small amount. However, the packaging is a drawback. The sealed bag makes it difficult to get the powder out without making a mess on your hands and counter (and wasting some in the process), and it doesn't come with a scoop. I know this is one way to be able to provide the product cheaply, but it is a drawback.

Just recently started using this Bulk Supplements product. So far, very nice. It's very, very reasonable compared to my local Walgreens, and isn't full of stuff I probably don't want. I haven't had any trouble with the taste or anything. A reviewer suggested putting it under the tongue for a couple of minutes. That's how I'm trying it and I believe they are right. I do feel a slight tingle after a minute or so. Will keep using this way and perhaps revisit my review later. Thankyou, Monica19612.

I bought this to dissolve with 5-HTP and Gamma-Aminbuyric acid in DMSO because of on studies I've read about how DMSO increases the effectiveness of amino acids. I only tried it once, this morning, but I already feel an increased sense of calm and am more peaceful. Something like the effects I get from taking a small amount of CBD oil. I am surprised by the immediate effects, considering some people said it took weeks for them to notice. I will update this review later on how I feel after some time.
