Neural Rewiring for Eating Disorder Recovery: For real and meaningful mental freedom

Many pages with just a few words -trick to increase page count
Bought this book hoping to get insights on how to help someone with an eating disorder. While I appreciate the authors effort in sharing her experience, I really dislike being deceived by how self publishing authors pad page count by unnecessarily using a page to fit in a few words. . Examples : page 4 has 1 word . Yes just 1 word. Page 14 has15 words . Page 23 has 2 sentences which can easily fit in the previous page. Page 32 has 13 words. Page 40 has 1 sentence. Page 61 has 1 line ( part of a sentence from the previous page). I am returning it for the reason I don’t want to support / encourage this kind of marketing .

A must read!!
This is such a detailed book on how to neurally rewire. I’m currently in recovery and have nutritionally rehabilitated but have been struggling with the rewiring. She gives specific examples anyone recovering can relate to and put into practice immediately. So grateful to Tabitha for sharing her lived experience with an eating disorder because it is spot on with what I have gone through. She knows what professional treatment providers don’t know and she gives sound advice as to how to actually fully recover. I can’t speak highly enough about this book and all of Tabitha’s content. Trust her, she will get you to freedom!!

Great companion to RRR
Loved RRR. I feel so lucky that I found her when I did. I started this journey of recovery about 6 months ago. I was terrified but, I could not live another day as I was. Your book told my story so I had hope that if I did what she did, that I would get what she got. And I did. I got sick, lost weight and like movement too early on, the thoughts came back and it has been hard. So, thank you for all of your work Tabatha. Your videos, books and podcasts are always appreciated by me.

The Framework You Need
If you're in recovery, or have a loved one who is struggling with an eating disorder, but you're intimidated by reading the longer book about neural rewiring by Tabitha Farrar, this is the book for you. It is the scaffolding of how to apply the principles of Rehabilitate Rewire Recover. Absolutely brilliant.

Unpretentious and to the point
I love that Tabitha uses language to explain what she has to say in a way any person can understand. That she doesn't try to impress the reader with endless name dropping meant to inspire awe and deference to her superiority references. I understood what she is saying at once. Well written. Thank you Tabitha for your honesty and clarity of thought.

Required Reading for ANYONE who is dealing with Eating Disorders
This book, along with her other book RRR, should be required for patients, doctors, therapists, DIETITIANS, and caregivers. Fantastic information and something I wish I had 5 years ago.

Wonderful
Interesting and speaks the truth about overcoming an eating disorder. Very informative, helpful, and reassuring. It’s not our fault, our brain has learned behaviors and it can change.

Brilliant.
I've been trying to deal with an ED on my own since I was 16 and I'm now 23. This book is the first thing I've ever read which has changed my perspective of how to approach recovery. It's the first time I've ever felt supported in my many attempts of trying to recover and I have just ordered RRR! to help me further rationalise the neural aspects of EDs. Thank you Tabitha, I'm excited to read RRR!

Required reading if you want to recover properly!
Simply put, straightforward, to the point. Gives you the tools that you need to really recover (unlike the nhs!). Made me face more than a few home truths regarding whether or i was really in and committed to recovery or just ‘trying’ but not really wanting to....It could change your life, but be prepared to be honest with yourself and for some hard work to get there - and no, no-one else can do the work for you!

Disappointing
Sorry to say that I didn’t find this particularly helpful. I really rate Tabitha Farrar so was a bit disappointed.
