The product looks cool and I could find no down side to using it. Worked like a charm.There was a problem initially because my house is at 9000 ft (Rocky Mountains) so when the product arrived the change is altitude has caused the float/valve to expand and that meant that the water from the tank could not flow into the base reservoir and the product showed an error "No Water". This has happened to other products and the solution was simple. put a pin prick into the float and equalize the pressure then reseal the pin hole. Problem solved.I think a longer term solution would be for the manufacturer to redesign the float for altitude variation.Super happy with the product. Colorado is very dry and this works like a charm. ### ⭐⭐ First is great, second not so much *by A***T on Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2019* This humidifier has all the features I was looking for, is simple to use and clean, relatively stylish, and at a good price point. I bought one for our bedroom initially and it's worked great! I clean it weekly, following all instructions and have had no issues with the unit so far. It really helps me breathe better at night!I was so impressed with this humidifier that I ordered a second unit 2 weeks later for our spare room. This second one has been an unpredictable pain! First of all, side by side the 2 units do not agree on the humidity. The second one generally reads ~10 units higher than the first, technically either sensor could be off.The main problem with my second unit is that it has a tendency to leak and make a huge mess if I'm not paying attention. The humidifier has a water reservoir that drips down onto a mister. I'm not sure why but sometimes the mister will stop being able to produce a mist, while the device continues to run and drip water. It fills itself with water, the mister helplessly bubbling away, until the water level gets high enough to flow out of a slot on the exterior. The first time this happened I didn't notice for a few hours and it made a massive mess all over the floor. Since then, I have kept a close eye on it and have caught it's latest leaks soon enough to prevent a mess. Still, in less than 2 months of daily use, it is leaking at least twice a week, and I no longer feel comfortable using this second unit.I can find nothing mechanically wrong or broken with the second one. I have kept cleaned both units weekly following all instructions. I have been careful not to mix up parts. I can find nothing different or wrong with the second unit compared to the first one. However this second one has weekly Leaks and the first one does not. I have no explanation for it, and while the first one works perfectly and greatly improves my breathing at night, I am worried that at any point it may start leaking like the second! At this point I am no longer using the second at all. ### ⭐ No instructions. No customer support. Also no mist. I asked what the little yellow rectangle cup was for, and what the cylinder at the bottom of the unit was, and told them that the unit wasn't emitting any mist. By request, I sent a video of the unit not working (not sure why that was helpful), and she said she would email me.
