I'd rather the traditional tie-on bridge than this knot-and-slot bridge, but that is a minor gripe for something so inexpensive for the great value you get. I had bought a soprano for $30-40 as my first uke and wanted a tenor and something a little nicer. This has that gooorgeous semi-matte finish and is made so beautifully. I had gone to Guitar Center to look at ukes and they didn’t have a great selection. This ukulele feels and looks like a tiny version of one of the really nice acoustic guitars you’d find in the acoustic room at Guitar Center.
