I worked with leather for many years and these bags are definitely pebble leather.. The light blue color is such a cute summer color I love it. Interior is perfect two slide pockets, one side zipper and a center divider zipper. Best part is I love the outside zipper pocket for my cell phone.. The only thing I would say is when you use it as as a shoulder bag the 1/2 satin 1/2 leather strap stands out which kinda makes it look a little cheap.. So for me β€œI would pay a little extra to have the leather on both sides of the straps.” Other than that love the bag, won’t be using this with the should strap so this works for me. As for the backpack being to tight at the top to get anything in it, just un-snap the snaps simple as that once you close the zipper all is good.. Great backpack absolutely love it.. It's perfect except for a few things. The hidden pocket that rests against your back (to put your cell phone in for easy access) is up way too high to reach in constantly. I usually prefer when it's on the side of my backpacks or at the bottom so I can easily access it. It's literally like reaching around to scratch when your bra strap goes across...every.single.time.you.need.your.phone. Which obviously gets annoying so I just end up holding my phone. Also, the strap is one continuous strap, which seems convenient, right? Well...yes and no. There is not a thicker handle for the middle to keep the middle in place. That means that the "middle" will be on one side or the other causing the straps to be super uneven. Sounds like a simple fix, right? That's what I thought too, but NOPE! It's harder than it looks to even out the straps and I'm walking around constantly messing with it between my phone and the straps.
