Amazon Brand - Mae Women's High Waist Cotton Modal Bikini Underwear with Lace, 3 Pack

I love Mae bras and decided to try some Mae undies. I need cotton undies (usually buy 95% cotton, and these are advertised as 90% cotton, so I was fine with that). They actually are only about 50% cotton! (See photo of tag.) Dishonest marketing. :(

I like the look of these on, but there are several issues I have had with them. First, the description says they are 90% cotton. The label disagrees, stating that the body of the panty is 47%cotton, 47%modal, and 6% elastase. The waist is 94%nylon and 6% elastase, and the gusset (crotch) is 100% cotton. That does not add up to 90% cotton, no matter how you do the math. Second, as they are made in China, the size models used must have had tiny booties. Most American women do not have tiny booties. So, for me, there is not enough material to properly cover my behind, although the rest of the panty fits perfectly in all the right places. Consequently, they do not stay in place over my behind, but tend to move around and ride up on me. The elastic is not tight enough to hold the panty properly in place when you move. Another problem is the very long tag inside the back of them, which is incredibly annoying and must be cut out. Fortunately, once cut out, I cannot feel the remnant of the tag while wearing them, so that is a good thing. The final problem is that the laundering instructions state you should lay them flat to dry. Really? Like I have the time and space to lay my underware flat to dry. I don’t think so. The manufacturer should make the product dryer safe, because for my underwear, it is either the dryer, or the trash! I wanted to really like these, but I won’t be buying anymore.

Soft and comfortable. They stay in place and don't ride up. Sized correctly though I should have ordered the large instead of X-large. Only drawback was the long tag that hangs in the back. Which I removed making them more comfortable. Would order again.

These are so soft and fit perfectly. For reference, I'm 5'3", 145, muscular thighs and butt. It's so hard to find underwear that dont cut into my legs or butt. These are very flattering on my short legs because of the high cut out, and they're the perfect amount of high waisted while not covering too much.

I needed cute but not granny. Comfortable but not cheap quality. These undies are it! Just ordered another pack :)

These run larger than other major brands... My usual size was much too big. I washed on cold and threw in the dryer, and fortunately they shrank! So now they seem to fit. Also, the body of the red ones faded, so it doesn't match the lace anymore. They are very soft and comfy, and the lace doesn't scratch.

I really like these, but the lace is delicate will need to treat a bit gently but still really cute.

I really liked these at first - they did not ride up or give me a wedgie. This changed after a couple washes. I found myself getting wedgies & adjusting them. So liked these at first.
