As A Marketing & PR Person, I Didn't Think It Was Possible To Package EVERYTHING You Really Need To Know. . .But It's ALL Here
Jess Todtfeld has left no stone unturned, yet the magic of the book is that it is not at all overwhelming. It is a pretty quick read that covers an enormous amount of information--particularly in today's media, digital and social media Age. The book addresses both strategic and tactical issues surrounding being interviewed in various media formats extremely well. But, as if that's not enough, Todtfeld ends the book with helpful information about how to showcase all of your interviews (i.e., television, radio, podcast, Internet, etc.) in the most professional way possible. He cuts to the chase to solve some very common problems that so many people have; for instance, I didn't exactly know what to do in order to put my radio and podcast interviews on YouTube but now I know! He makes things simple to understand which is so important because it is too easy to just say: "I don't really know what my 20-year old nephew just told me to do so I am just going to wait and do it later". "Later" has a funny way of never showing up, meanwhile a TV or radio producer has looked at Mary Reilly's YouTube Channel and said "She's too inexperienced" because I didn't have all of my content up there.

Jess Todtfeld Has Helped Me in Many Ways, and He Will Help You Too!
Jess Todtfeld is a gift to all of us who want to share our messages effectively and with as wide an audience as possible. [Full disclosure: Jess is a good friend, and he graciously acknowledged me in "Media Secrets."] Many years ago, I took two of Jess's two-day seminars, one on how to present a talk well, and the other on how to do a media interview well. Both were high-content workshops that I continue to benefit from. (Sample tip: tape yourself before you speak and review the tape carefully. I still do this before my keynote speeches, even though I've now been a speaker for many years.)Jess's book "Media Secrets" is a superb guide to the art of the media interview. I have it on my Kindle and will soon have the paperback version. If you are serious about being a great guest on a radio or TV program or podcast, this is the book you need to have and study. Then I recommend that you sign up for one of Jess's workshops or invite him to present to you and your colleagues at work or your next conference: [...] [This is not a paid promotional advertisement; I just want to apprise you of how to get in touch with Jess.]Thank you, Jess Todtfeld, for helping people be more effective in how we communicate on the platform and in interviews.

Jess is truly one of the nicest, most authentic people I've met. PLUS he's amazing at distilling a lifetime of information and experience into a book that's easy to read. Just as importantly, he gives you very actionable steps that you can easily follow. I spent a day working with him in person in a small workshop for a lot more money, and it was worth every penny - so this book is a bargain!!! Grab it if you have ANY interest in interfacing with the media. I'm a newbie in all this, and his tips and guidance have enabled me to successfully get the publicity I need for my four startup companies - while staying true to myself and my message.Bobbi Kline MDAuthor, The Blood Type CookbookCEO Genomic Solutions Now, GENESIS Center for Personalized Health, NCG Health Solutions
