It smells like a faint smell of Murphy Oil Soap. Definitely not citronella scented. But good for the price I guess. I can't really tell weather or not it actually repels bugs, but I think I might be doing the job.I see less bugs around.

Works well on our patio
There is truly no odor, and we use the oil in jar lamps on our patio. The jars are colored, so the clear oil works well. We have not seemed to be bothered by insects while the lamps are in use.

This is a huge bottle of citronella oil; we love to sit on the porch but do not have a screened in area. This should keep us misquote-free all summer.
