Got this for husband, heavy duty nice case. Good for guys who drop things!! He is very happy with it, good quality at a good price.

This is the second of this kind of cell phone cover I have bought. Protection from dropping because of the rubber outer cover is great. The only thing that I don't like is the plastic shield that covers the touch screen, it works well with a finger but not so well with a stylus. I remove the plastic cover because I use a stylus, if you only use your finger on the screen is fine. The cover is there to prevent scratching of the screen..

First the positives: the clamshell with the outer cover (rubber) makes the unit feel robust and seems to protect the phone very well. The outer housing also provides a very nice grip! The built-in screen protector film is above average (my past experience has been that this will eventually have to be removed - but for now, the above average rating is due to insensitive spots around the edges. The film over the fingerprint reader is too flimsy and bunches up (will eventually tear). The extra pieces of “plugs” for the 3.5mm jack are inconvenient (they partially cover the jack). The plug for the lightning adapter is robust and hence makes it a challenge to plug in your phone for charging!

I ordered this for my old iPhone 6s. I have the Otterbox cover for it, but finally the rubber cover that comes with the Otterbox wore out and started tearing all over the place. The hard plastic inner cover was still OK, but without the outer rubber cover, you have less protection and it's harder to reach the buttons (you have to sort of squeeze your finger into the gaps between the hard plastic to reach the buttons). So I was looking for just the rubber cover portion of the Otterbox when I found this product. You can use this product without previously having had the Otterbox, of course, since it also comes with the hard inner cover that you use the rubber outer to cover. But I just needed the rubber cover. I just got this product, and I can report that the cover wraps around the Otterbox inner cover just fine, just like the original Otterbox rubber cover. Is it exactly the same? Hmm, comparing the rubbery material of this and the Otterbox, I'm inclined to say the Otterbox may have had a higher quality rubber material. I could say that for the hard plastic inner case, too, which appears to be of a slightly lighter plastic material. But you know what? For this price point, comparing with the Otterbox, and considering how much an old iPhone 6s is worth nowadays, I'd say this product will do just fine. The rubber will still protect, and so will the inner hard plastic case, for most of the typical situations - drop to the floor and the like. Maybe for certain really high-impact situations the Otterbox would be better (they probably did more quality testing there), but we're not talking about protecting a thousand-dollar phone. Now my iPhone cover looks new, has good protection for cheap, and I'm happy to keep using my faithful old iPhone 6s - without it being unprotected or looking shabby with a torn-up rubber plastic cover.

This iPhone case is something to rave about. It is made from quality materials and comes with great instructions. It seems to be as durable as the one I previously purchased for 4 times the price of this durable case.

Works better than otter cases. My husband has a $50 otter case and his phone screen cracks all the time. Mine rarely cracks and if so, it isn't very bad.

If water touches the screen, the water will go under and you have to take it apart and wipe the screen. But it is prettier sturdy for the most part. After a while the charger flap broke off which isn’t really a big deal. Also gets scratched really easy and it is really hard to clean it because so much dust gets stuck to the screen. Last thing, when you get it, it is nearly impossible to open it so what i did is take a hair comb and use the handle to pry open the case. But overall a good case I have had it for two months
