Got these for my 52” Raptor SD. They installed just as easily as the factory blades.During the first cut using them, I noticed my mower didn’t get bogged down and I was able to mow full speed ahead. To add to that, it had rained every other day for about 10 days, so my St. Augustinegrass was taller than normal. I like to cut it at 4” but decided to knock it down to 3.5” because of the future forecast. The grass clippings were only really visible when I mowed straight and then immediately backed up. Even then, the pieces were so small that they probably weren’t worth mentioning.As for the durability, I’ve only used them for two cuttings but, I have a handful of places where rocks and branches are regularly kicked up. My old blades were always TRASHED by the time I sharpened them. In two cuttings using these, they still appear to have the factory edge on them.In short, if you love raking your grass clippings, don’t buy these. If you want to help your lawn be healthy and save yourself some work, buy them and keep them sharp.

These are good blades and have held up through one season of mowing my acreage just fine. The blades do not arrive sharp enough IMO so be ready to add an edge to them before installing. I probably should have sharpened them at least once halfway through the mowing season, but I did not and they are still cutting well. The heavier rotating mass has caused a noticeable increase in fuel consumption, but it's probably only taken me 10 or so more gallons of gas to complete a full mowing season vs the OEM blades.I have no complaints but be mindful the heavier blades will increase fuel consumption and will also increase the wear on your deck belt. So far after one full season these have held up fine and I would buy again.

great blades. I was using an OEM high lift mulch blade and they would leave a lot of unmatched grass clippings. After installing the Gator blades, which took a whole 5 minutes. I was completely satisfied with the results. You could see how small the clippings were being muched down. This will save me additional work, as I won't have to dethatch as much with the smaller clippings. Also the smaller clippings can/will breakdown faster and fall back into the gras not leaving a windrow of dead cut grass on your lawn. No more brown tips because these blades cut clean and do not rip the grass. Good idea to get these if you want a superior cut.

Used them on Ariens 52 in Zero Turn with mulching kit. The blades seemed to be a quality product; much heavier than stock. However, once my grass hit full summer growth, they tended to leave uncut strips on the inside where the blades overlapped. Slowing down and doing a larger overlap helped but did not eliminate, and that defeats purpose of ZTR, right? Back to stock blades- no problem. If it's working, don't fix it.
