I've been using them since the late 90's and they are fantastic. Are there others? For sure. Are they better? Maybe. Are they priced as well as these and super reliable always? I say no... My ONLY gripe with these is that I need the female part of the clip at about a 5 to 1 ratio as much as I need the male part. I have way more microphones than I have stands, and I love to swap mics out. The good news is that you can buy the female part directly from On-Stage at their website. The bad part is they're kinda hidden and you really have to look for them and you can ONLY get them there as far as I know. On-Stage needs to sell this in a package with 1 male part and 3-5 female parts, or at least advertise them. Functionally amazing, logistically hard to find sometimes.
