3 X WLF-01 - Replacement filter for LT700P, ADQ36006101 - Triple Pack

This is a review for the pack of 3 water filter for LT700P, ADQ36006101--I will start by saying I installed my first filter on Aug 5 2015--I bought a replacement filter because like most lazy people I just pressed the button on my LG fridge when it was trying to tell me to change the filter. I would do it later....fast forward to much later when the water coming from the fridge tasted strange and well I actually decided to purchase a water filter replacement. Now I will say this I don't know how LG gets away with charging what they do for a single filter replacement it isn't rocket science! So I pulled the trigger and ordered these as a trial. If it didn't work out I would return them and bite the bullet on official LG replacement cartridges.Pro-The water tastes much better than it did when the filter stopped working. The ice is clearer and not grainy. Trust me if you have waited too long to change a water filter you know what I am talking about. I have noticed no detrimental effects in water quality, no calcium deposits or anything else since changing the filter.-It fit and worked flawlessly in my LG fridge, installing it was easy and it required no extra steps even if it is a generic replacement filter.-The price is great and honestly I am glad I have the other two to prevent me from procrastinating too long when my next change comes up.-If you have to change the water filter you likely have to do the same with your fridges air filter as well, do it together and your nose and fridge will thank you.Cons- I am not sure about the claim that it lasts for 100 gallons more than the original filter, and I would be a little skeptical to test this claim. I will likely just change it at the recommended time and forgo testing this claim.ConclusionA great filter at a great price and you get three of them so you don't procrastinate next time you need to change your water filter. It was a no brainier for me.

I was very skeptical about these filters because people complain about the quality and functionality of these third part filters all over the reviews section. But I decided to take a chance on these anyway. For $45 I got three factory sealed replacement water filters for my LG refrigerator. I typical LG replacement filter will run you in the mid $30 range per filter, so you definitely get more bang for your buck on these right off the bat.Basically my experience was like this. I removed the old filter, unpacked one of these new filters, wet the black rubber ring on the neck of the new filter as instructed, and placed the new filter in the slot and closed the casing. I then took an empty pitcher and ran about 3 gallons of water in to it as is required when replacing the filters in refrigerators. The purpose of doing this is to remove any lose debris and to get the water running through the filter initially to get any air out of the line.Once I ran 3 gallons through the filter, the water came out crystal clear and free from the typical bleach / chlorine taste we get in our lines due to having a community well that is terribly mismanaged. We've been using the first of the three of these filters for a few weeks now and my filter does not leak, and based on the taste of the water, seems to be doing its job as expected. I'm happy with the fact that I just saved about $50 due to not having to purchase LG filters at full price.Update:: been using these filters for a few years now. Never had a problem.

We have been using this filter for several years. It works really well to remove impurities and unpleasant taste. I personally think the taste is excellent, almost as good as RO, especially when the filters are new. The company does recommend changing the filter every three months, which is shorter than some fridge filter change reminders are set to.

The water is not quite at a flavor I enjoy, but the fact that I'm not paying ridiculous prices for OEM filters definitely wins with this three pack. When cold, the water is okay...but at room temperature, not so much. Ice tastes great, no odd flavor. Using in SoCal, so not sure about how much work the filters have to do with our tap water nor do I necessarily know how effective the filtering is with toxins, impurities, etc. Overall, not having the water filtered (i.e. people who never switch out the filters because they "forget" or think it's not necessary) is harder to argue vs. paying a little bit for these, which at least do something before the water ends up in your drinks.

Fit perfect in my refrigerator, Easy to install. Just pop open the filter holder, twist the old one out, and put the new one in and close it up. Can’t be easier than that!

We use these all the time in our ice and water from our refrigerator. They look and function just like the more expensive brand from the appliance manufacturer. We recommend them.

You cannot beat the price on this set of three filters. It works well with my LG 30" French door. Just pop out the old one slide the new one in. Reset the timer on the door and flush out 2 gallons of water and that's it. One side note, if you see white particles in your ice and water that look like dandruff it is not the filter but hard water in your lines. Usually calcium in the water supply. I live in Southern California and we have a lot of it. To solve this you need a water softener system for your home or apartment.
