Perfect! Functional, convenient and out of sight!
My kitchen is small and my floor space is important. This hide away system is perfect and holds lots of garbage. The bags are a great size and the ease of changing them add to the functionality and convenience. One of the best buys I've ever invested in and I would recommend it to anyone who is short on space. Before installing the frame, test to make sure it will clear your opening...it may need a small adjustment in the final location, but extremely easy to install.

Absolutely perfect kitchen trash system
Been using the 5 gallon Trash Rack system for years now and when we had kitchen recently redone, splurged on a new frame. Delighted with the new (to me) drip tray underneath and the storage for a few rolls of bags under that. With two of us in the house, emptying the trash about 2x a week which is perfect, and the bags are a manageable size and weight even when stuffed full. Huge fan of the whole system!

Perfect for small kitchens!
Love this little trash bin. In preparation for retirement we renovated our bungalow in a lake community. It has a small kitchen and no practical place for a trash can and this style works perfectly! We have a garbage disposal that was a concern, but because of the design of this trash bin, we were able to measure and place the top rim/lid to go near the neck of the disposal. The 5 gallon bag holds more trash the we expected so it’s great for those who don’t have large families with heavy trash each day/week. Highly recommend it for those who have small spaces and enough trash to need a can.

Works great — if it fits your cabinet
We really wanted one of those cabinet-mounted trash cans that slides out on rails, but unfortunately our cabinets all either have pipes or permanent shelves that don't leave enough space for the sliding trash cans we found. This door-mounted trash can works really well and fits inside our limited cabinet space. The can isn't as big as some kitchen trash cans, but with our family of two, we still only need to take it out once a week. The trash bag is held in place at the top around a sturdy wire frame with hooks that hold the handles of the specially-made bags (or plastic bags from Walmart). As a result of the hooks, even though there are no trash can walls, the bags stay in place even better than bags do in a normal trash can. The lack of side walls also allows you to stuff the bag to its maximum and then still remove it easily without having to shake or wiggle it free from the trash can. However, it was not easy for us to get this trash can functioning. The mounts for the frame are centered, meaning the center of your cabinet door needs to be thick (at least 1/2"). Our cabinet doors aren't flimsy, but they have 3/4" edges with thinner centers. I've seen cabinet doors like this in many homes, but Sunbeam didn't prepare this product for cabinet doors like that. My first screw into the cabinet went through the cabinet and stuck out the front. Fortunately I noticed and stopped before screwing it all the way through and creating a noticeable hole. In order to mount the can on our cabinet door, I had to buy a 4-foot 1"x2" from Lowes, cut it in half and mount those pieces as support beams on the cabinet door. Then I was able to mount the trash can frame by screwing into the support beams. It wasn't too difficult, but it did require a little bit of carpentry engineering, an extra $8 at Lowes for the wood and additional wood screws, and a fairly complete tool set, including a circular saw to cut the wood supports to the right length and a drill to make pilot holes for the screws. One other minor note: I did have to replace one of the kit screws with one of my own after the head broke off (while using a hand-turned screwdriver). Another one of the kit screws also had its head break off, but not until it was in tight enough that I decided to leave it. Despite the apparent poor craftsmanship of the screws, the unit is now solidly mounted on our door and works flawlessly. If your cabinet doors are thick all the way across, then you'll have no issues with this product. If you've got some carpentry skills and like a good engineering challenge, then you can probably make this product work for you even with skinny cabinet doors. Whatever your situation, if you can get this product mounted successfully, it works every bit as well as the manufacturer claims.

Great Product
I’ve been using similar items built by Sunbeam for over 15 years. I love that this one is a bit larger than the prior ones I’ve had. It’s sturdy and super easy to install with the materials included in the box. My only quarrel (but not much of an issue to make it 4 starts) is the smell of the bags included with the product. I can’t stand that fake scented bag smell they carry, understanding most garbage bags come with some similar scent. I find it annoying. I use plastic bags from grocery stores or other bags that fit to avoid the scent issue. Overall, fantastic product and great buy. I recommend it.

Convenient Kitchen Trash receptacle - 2nd time, expect will be as good as the first!
This is the second of this item, that I have owned. I purchased this item 9 years ago and it is still going strong! Great for limited kitchen space, like nowhere to put a trash can, installs on the inside cabinet door of the kitchen sink. For a family of four (2 school-age boys) worked fine just lots of trips to the outside trash can, but I get to reuse grocery/retail plastic bags.

Best Trash Rack I have ever owned - But Not Available on Amazon.ca
Product offers the side hooks so your plastic bag can be properly secured to the rack (assuming you have garbage bags with carrying loops). This model has flat metal backing where the screw holes go so much more robust. My old model had a wire rack and the screw holes were drilled through the tubing (weakening the tubing and causing it to ultimately fail). Major complaint is if you're Canadian you have to source this on Amazon.com as you can't get it on Amazon.ca and consequently you pay more.

Good quality but didn't fit under our sink.
Good quality, exactly what I was looking for, but sadly did not fit under our kitchen sink as it stuck out too far to clear our sink front under the cabinet. Measure well. I had checked the height and width but forgot to check the depth.

Handles large and small bags well. Hard to find online
The hooks on either side of this trash rack are great if you want to attach a plastic grocery bag to act as a garbage bag. Keeps the bag in place. Without the hooks, a small bag would fall down as there is no support below it. Also, handles large bags well and keeps them better contained than other trash racks I have used. To date, this is the best I have used.
