IMPORTANT information about this device and Aruba
All,I had a very painful process with Aruba on this WAP. I cannot suggest purchasing any Aruba AP from a company that's not a reseller. If you're ordering this IAP-325 for your business, just know that Aruba 100% will not support this AP since it wasn't bought from a Reseller. This AP wouldn't activate to Aruba Central in my case. Additionally, most of the 32x model APs are EOL/EOS by 2026. End of Sale was 12/2021.The AP-303 or AP-535 is the way to go depending on your budget.

Best WiFi AP I've used.
Super easy to get up and running. The throughput is great and allows you to use a pre-existing DHCP server or an internal one. I live in an apartment complex with 75+ wifi APs and this adapts to the extreme interference very well. Paired with a good router your network will be perfect, but if you only need wifi then you can hook this directly up to a modem and institute your own firewall policies internally. Unless all your equipment is Aruba and you need a ton of AP's, then you really won't get any benefit from the features in the models above this one. It's the best bang for your buck.

Poor range
For how much I paid for these (we have 5 in our house), I would have expected far better range. Maybe we're morons and set them up wrong but we did get a professional enterprise network consultant come and set everything up for us. But the range is really poor. 15-20 meters at best, and this is with setting them up in optimal locations. With walls in between, each wall cuts down a good 5 meters or so. Wifi access from the street so we could open certain automated gates and doors? Not a chance. The devices enabled switching between access points pretty decently, I'll give it that, though not super fast.I probably wouldn't get this again if I were to do it all over, maybe I should have done what everyone else did and gotten an Eero or Lux system. For the price, I really can't give much more than 1 star for the performance, though the switching did work so I'll bump it up a star. I'll update this if my experience changes.

No power source included
The IAP-325 has all the bells and whistles you would expect in an enterprise class AP and more, however, I overlooked that a power adapter is not included and even though it works with POE, you wouldn't get full functionality unless either the power adapter is being used or it's an 802.3at source. Make sure to factor in the cost of either the power adapter or a compatible injector when making a decision. I am using a Cisco SG300-28P to power mine and the 5GHz radio seem to be enabled. From the manual:PowerThe E0 and E1 port support PoE-in, allowing one port to draw power from an 802.3at (recommended) or an 802.3af source. When both PoE and DC power sources are available, the access point will default to using the DC power source. If PoE is not available, the 320 Series has a single 12V/30W DC power jack socket to support the AP-AC-12V30UN AC-to-DC adapter kit (sold separately).Power ModesThe 320 Series can operate in two power modes. The modes are not configurable and are determine by the access point based on the amount of power available. The 320 Series Wireless Access Points operate without restrictions when powered by a DC or 802.3AT PoE source. When powered by an 802.3af PoE source, the following restrictions apply: * Second Ethernet port disabled * USB interface disabled * 2.4GHz in 1x1 modePower adapter:https://amzn.com/B0150O91B4
