Excellent little bit of kit. Really good value for money. Very sharp blades. The rubber ring keeps it really stable on the work surface. Will be getting plenty of use. Highly recommend.

Seems like a quality construction but it's quite likely that the plastic blade spindle will be the eventual weak link--could this have been made of light alloy? I have received this item today. I quickly learned that when trying to chop nuts it just doesn't pick them up properly so you don't get finely ground nuts--tilting the whole chopper corrects this --whether the manufactures would not recommend this is another matter. I just have to say my previous £10 model achieved this (Finely chopped nuts), lasted 2 years until the spindle cracked-it was used approx' three times per day. As a last note it's easy to operate, re-assemble, but as stated, could be more efficient.

The Russel Hobbs Food Processor is a constant help in the kitchen. Simple to use and easily cleaned. I wouldn't be without it. Good value, and chops very well.

I've always used the Kenwood mini choppers which work really well but are short lived, due to engine failure or the gears rubbing against the plastic housing, so I thought I'd try a different one and really regret it. Firstly, the glass goblet is bigger than the Kenwood, meaning small quantities are very hard to process as they just get thrown to the outside of goblet. Secondly, the goblet is too big for the very small blades, meaning that most of whatever you are chopping does not come into contact with the blades, especially as there is also a gap beneath the blades so a think layer of food also lies, untouched, on the bottom of the goblet. First I tried to process some oats, which the Kenwood used to reduce to fine powder in seconds but, after many minutes of processing, and having to repeatedly shake the goblet to get all the oats in contact with the blade, I was left with rough, uneven flakes and gave up. Next I tried to puree some steamed parsnip. It took a ridiculous 10 minutes of repeatedly having to stop and stir the contents of the goblet to get all the mixture properly processed. Through the glass of the goblet, you could clearly see that all the parsnip on the outside of the goblet was not moving at all. Again, it would have taken the Kenwood very little time. Food also gets stuck in the underside of the blade component and is almost impossible to clean out. Just poor design and an ineffective product. I am amazed so many people have given it a high score.

Love it, use it almost daily to chop veggies to put in sauces and stews and it makes the process so much easier and quick - I end up eating more vegetables because of this!

de vraag is waarom er een engelse stekker op zit,ik woon in Nederland,nu moeten er extra kosten gemaakt worden om er er engelse stekker op te zetten.

This is the worst grinder I ever experienced. There is about one centimetre gap beneath the knives, so significant quantity of materials remain there untouched, the others are smashes out of the wall of the pot. There is only a single speed which seems too fast for some task.
