Great product. Just read the review.
These knives are amazing! I've been throwing for a little while now and I can say that there are great knives and even better for the price. Right out of the box I could tell that these were a work of art and I expect nothing less from SOG. The knives are ready to be thrown right away and are easy to sharpen if need be. For anyone looking for a good set of knives, these are ones for you. They have a bit of heft to them which is a good thing and I can tell that they will last a while. For beginners this is a great product to learn on because of the balance in the knife. All in all, I heavily recommend this product. Happy throwingNote: the wrapping on the handle is well done but may get cut with close grouping. The blades are still good to throw without it or you can buy more cord and wrap it yourself. Not a big concern by any means.

Great for throwing, keeps an edge well
The media could not be loaded. Excellent throwing knives, a little beat up on the blade for blades hitting the ground. I double rotate them from the 13 foot mark. Not sure why these throwing knives came with paracord, but I took it off of them as it unwinds after a few throws. Haven't broken on me yet and I have thrown them consistently for a month and a half. Highly recommend.

They seem to pretty sturdy (heat treatment is good
I've been throwing knives for a few years and by no means consider myself an expert. But these are okay knives. For the price they're decent. They seem to pretty sturdy (heat treatment is good, aren't to brittle) the black coating is holding up better than I expected. As others have stated the cord wrapping around the handle comes off very easily but the weight and grip are better without it. They've even taken a few smacks on rocks without chipping. Oh and one last if you're into learning to throw knives and want to learn anything other than rotational throws (i.e. No spin throwing) get other knives. The cross guards on the them make no spin very difficult. In summary, they're not perfect knives, but they're pretty decent especially for the price. I would but them again.

Balanced, Sharp, & Extremely Strong!
I first got a set of these Beauties as a Groomsman gift Months ago, I tried them out and loved them so much that I had to get second set so that I would have an even 6! With the right Target and the basic Throwing Skills, these Knives should be in Every Thrower’s Repertoire! They’re Balanced, They can take a lot of Punishment, and the Small Lip at the bottom of the handle makes them roll off the tip of your Index Finger with ease, for a Fast, Controlled Spin! The Paracord does come off easily, so either Tape it closed or remove it entirely. Either way, weather you’re a Beginner, Amateur, or Seasoned Pro, these Knives are definitely worth a Shot!🔪

The sheath is of good quality. The knives are of good weight and ...
The knives came packaged well, The sheath is of good quality. The knives are of good weight and the edge is sharpened and the tip is sharp. I would rather not have the paracord wrap on the handle as it tends to come undone but its easy to take off. The knives are easy to throw and gives self satisfaction when it sticks. I had to play with the distance as to what the best distance is. The best distance was about 7 feet away for a beginner like me. After a couple of dozen throws I feel I'm getting the hang of it. I think I would not like to have the knife edge sharp because all I want these for is throwing. I made a target of four 2x6's by 5' high. After reading all the reviews on other knives I feel I got a good deal and of good quality. I'm excited to get better and eventually get more knives and in time a throwing hatchet or tomahawk.

Worthwhile purchase? YES, ABSOLUTELY!!
That is if you want good throwing knives. What follows is a detailed review of this product after a couple months of abuse.I know what you're thinking, because I was thinking the same thing. Are these knives going to withstand the torture and abuse that I'm going to put them through? Will they hold up? Are they going to break or bend? Well...the quick and easy answer is "maybe". Depends on how rough you are with them. I don't recommend using concrete as a target, but should do fine with wood. First of all, remember that these are throwing knives. The normal cutting edge is not going to make it. They will most likely be thrown at high velocity, and without much accuracy. Unless you are a professional... that is. The normal knife edge that is usually for cutting is very thin and will get bent or chip. Unless you plan to use the knives to preparť

Good starter throwing knives
These are great to start with, they're easy to throw and balanced well. I bought two sets and the tip broke off on 3 of the 6 knives. All in all, they are sturdier than most at this price range.
