I used this product to clean my carpets along with prochem all fiver rinse and then used grandi groom carpet rake to fluff the carpets. I used 1/4 teaspon for my bissell machine and I had minimal foam but i believe the foam wasnt from this product and was residue left from bissell, zep and resolve. I tried it all and nothing worked as well as this. The rinse is a must! I wish i had known from the beginning. The product removed most of the stains including red stains which are the worst to remove, except for neon food coloring that my kids spilled years ago. However it did lighten those stains. I will be trying an stronger solution mic in the future and update if i can remove the food coloring. The product removed the stale carpet smell, urine smell that i didnt even knee was there. It wasnt until i emptied the tank that i could smell urine. The scent is very mild and disapears after a few hours. However the rinse scent is fresh similar to baby powder. 1.
