Highly recommend this great hairbrush! Slight curve gives excellent scalp contact. Densely spaced, flexible and strong bristles are fine and have rounded tips — exhilarating to use and they don’t break my hair. Beautiful pearlized, blue color. Very comfortable, uniquely shaped handle. Made of super strong material — I dropped this brush on a stone floor and feared it might have shattered or cracked, but it was perfectly intact. Easy to clean too. My hair is thick, straight, medium length and I searched long and hard for a high quality hair brush I’d love using, hoping to find a hybrid synthetic + boar bristle brush. But I’ve quit my search for hybrid after finding this terrific synthetic brush. After testing it out I ordered several more to keep on hand for future, in case these become unavailable. Great price and quality, delivered quickly. Very pleased.

I honestly didn’t think this brush would be anything special but I was wrong. Firstly, I should say I have extremely thick and dense hair. No really, picture the average persons hair and multiply by four. Secondly, add to that I have caucasian 2C sorta wavy and straight texture that’s both coarse and smooth, tangles with extreme prejudice and has no problem turning into a poofy mess just because it wants to. In other words my hair is shall we say difficult (and that’s being nice). So hence this brush. The bristles look like nothing special but I swear they are magic. They glide through the hair with minimal pulling of knots (pretty sure a normal amount of hair would not have this problem) while having both flexibility and strength. The bristles feel great on the scalp and distribute the natural oil your scalp produces extremely well. And though there is no claim that it smooths hair it does just that for my hair texture. I have not used this in the shower but I do use it to detangle afterwards and use it to brush my hair while air drying and normal everyday brushing. I’ve never had a brush work so well for my unruly mane without pulling and ripping out my hair but this brush accomplishes that and manages to feel great on my scalp while doing it. I should also mention prior to purchasing I read some reviews that said they had a hard time cleaning this brush but I haven’t had that problem. After each use I remove any hair in the brush and rinse with water. Once a week I disinfect it with a water/bleach mixture and haven’t had any problems. I do not use hair oil but rather a leave in conditioner and this brush has held up perfectly. So for me it has been durable and the bristles maintain their shape and no bristles have fallen out. If something happened to it I would 100% buy another eagerly. The are only a couple of negatives about this brush. It’ quite smaller than the normal paddle brushes I am used to, but that also makes it extremely travel friendly and this brush would fit well in a medium size or larger purse, handbag, or toiletry kit. And because of the length, thickness, density and texture of my hair I have to brush it in three different sections using a claw clip to separate my hair by the bottom, middle, and top layers. I could not just simply brush through my entire hair because the bristles simply cannot go through the density of my hair. The average person would have no problem brushing through their hair though so don’t let my experience deter you. My nephew has short extremely dense thick hair and I bought one for him and he loves it as well. I can honestly say that while I do wish the brush was larger or that they offered a brush specifically for thicker hair I am extremely satisfied with this brush and do not plan on using any other for detangling and brushing. Plus, the price for this brush is great because I would pay significantly more for it but I am happy I don’t have to.

I have straight long Asian hair. It worked GREAT until it started creating statics in my hair. I'm not sure if it's my hair or the brush or the changing weather but my hair literally sticks to the brush when brushing. I'll be switching to a wooden brush soon. But this is a very gentle brush great for massaging scalp.

I have been using the same brush for decades. I simply cannot remember not having it. Unfortunately and finally after decades the bristles began breaking off from the outside so I turned it into a cat brush. I looked everywhere and spend $$$ for boar bristle brushes And natural bristle brushes which just did not work nearly as well on my thick waist length colored hair. I vaguely remember buying my old brush from AVON but they no longer sell it. Looked at Fuller brush and no luck there either. I read a blog and saw a picture of a brush almost exactly like my old one and the blog indicated that this brush ‘the Seduce’ was a great replacement for a gentleman’s wives brush which she also had used for decades. Found it on Amazon and I am SO SO happy to say that It is so similar as to be almost identical except in color. As a side note my cats love this brush also and now walk away if I try to brush them with anything but this brush. Furthermore, all I have to do is run my fingers along the bristles and they both come running. So, I just bought one for them also. This brush detangles my long think hair easily without breakage, and goes all the way to the scalp. Another review mentioned the brush causing static electricity and sent it black for this reason. To solve this problem either put the brush. under the tap to get a bit of water On it before brushing or wear a safety pin on your clothes when using the brush to solve this issue. I HIGHLY recommend.

I've been using this model for over 5 years now and I absolutely love. Having short curly hair the bristles feel so good on my head. Almost like a mini massage. Design and Aesthetics | 4/5 - It looks great, my main gripe is that it's kind hard to clean as you use it for a while. That's the main reason I've replaced mine every few years. Also the bristles are relatively soft you can't just throw it in a bag. Material Quality | 5/5 - They just don't fall apart as long as you don't smush the bristles. Ease of cleaning | 2/5 - They are a pain to clean. The many thin bristles just capture gunk like no tomorrow.

This brush is amazzzing. I have long fine hair and this is the only brush that hasn’t caused breakage in my hair. Highly recommend!!!

My family had an old hairbrush from the 80s that we all loved and couldn't find any longer for years and years. I've purchase MANY other brushes in hopes they'd feel the same as my old hairbrush. I finally found a replacement that I LOVE and will now get for my siblings and my Mom and now my son too who has grown up loving the old hairbrush too!! SO THANKFUL!! It's a great hairbrush that gets out tangles gently yet sturdy enough. It also feels so good on my scalp. I will buy many more so that I have a good supply and will never have to search again.
