One day while using the frother, I was unable to turn it off. The button just stopped working. I tried to find my little screw driver and when I finally did, I was unable to unscrew the cover with the frother was still working. It was actually a great candid camera moment, as I was in the process of frothing golden milk. Needless to say, turmeric splatters everywhere! I finally just put the frother on the floor to let it spin itself out, which my cat thoroughly enjoyed. Once it stopped sputtering I put it on my dining room table to deal with later. At about midnight, while I was dozing off on the couch, I was startled by a small explosion. It turns out the little frother packs quite a punch, parts scattered about and I think my dog had a minor stroke. After it cooled down, I could see, without unscrewing the compartment, that the batteries had exploded. Watch out! Throw away the batteries that come with this frother!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little gadget! *by L***2 on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2015* I was surprised at how well this little gadget works! Poor milk in cup, press button and spin for a few seconds and I had froth that was almost like whip cream. Just as good as the kind in coffee shops! I don't like how the batteries load though. You have to unscrew it with a screw driver and the screws are very small. I did not like that part about it but its still very much worth the reasonable price for it.
