Excellent product
I really like this product it is much easier to grease the tuning slides. It is easier to apply compared to the cream style grease. They make the slides work with ease. So far it seems to last a decent time, although, I could see it not lasting as much as the more solid grease. Mostly because this is in liquid form but I could be wrong. It is a top quality product from Bach, that I use on my Stradivarius.

Slide grease
Product works great with just the right amount of slide ease of movement.

simple and easy to use
Usually i buy the grease ones, but wanted to try it out. Took out my trumpet that's been sitting for 15 years slides were dry as hell. Cleaned it, put a few drops on the slides, rubbed it with my fingers and did the normal applications etc. The tuning slide was to my liking for adjusting not too stiff, but also not loose. 1st and 3rd slides did the same, but also used 1 drop of valve oil as well cause.... you know it is sorta thick and I don't have Hulk strength fingers.

Good Grease, but Not the Best
Overall, very good product. It does its job and keeps my slides very well greased and moving. Although, I'm not quite sure I would recommend using this product long term. The grease is good when the inside of the slides are greased up and warm, pretty quiet. But when you clean the tuning slides to prevent buildup or just to clean them periodically, putting on new slide grease and putting it back in--there's a grit.Maybe it's my fault for not getting the dust, but I would expect the grease to just grease and move past the particles.I used the grease on multiple tubas and I get that everytime. Either way, good product, just not sure I would use it for years on end.

Excellent Bach Product
I took a chance on this product as I was getting low on my chapstick looking grease tube that came with my beginner trumpet. (Muslady) I am glad I purchased this product. I used it for the first time yesterday and noticed that I used very little ( literally a drop) to do all slides. This may last me more a year or more, even if I apply twice a month. No residue left, like the the one I was using. After applying, all my slides move so much smoother, even on this off brand trumpet. I have also applied to my Yamaha 2335 trumpet, bought at a pawn shop. Again, excellent results. Too bad this product doesn't magically make me a better trumpet player. ( or will it?)

use sparingly
Worked a little too well. My son snapped his trombone up in the required marching band fashion and the slide flew off the back onto the field behind him. He wiped 2/3 of the grease off, and it's hasn't happened again.

This stuff is THICK.
I've owned and played a Bach since 8th grade (yes, graduation present) and when I saw this, I decided I needed to try it. The bottle is nice, with the locking cap and the application is well controlled due to both the small hole in the applicator tip and the thickness of the grease. A very little bit goes a long way. I'm not sure I will ever be able to use this bottle up. Due to its thickness, it is great for the tuning slide but is too thick for my 1st and 3rd valve slides to "kick out" while playing. I tried adding valve oil to my valve slides and cannot get it thin enough to be able to use while playing. I give it a 5 star because it is properly labeled as tuning slide grease, not slide grease. If you need a grease for anything besides your tuning slide and want to be able to move your valve slides while playing, you will need a different grease.
