These are great. Totally compatible with our Picasso tiles. I love that Playmags have a “squares only” set as these are the most coveted shape in our collection and we are always running out. I couldn’t see that there are any sets from Picasso tiles or Magna-tiles that are “square only” so I got these. They seem very sturdy so far. We’ve only had them for about a week. I got 5 each of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. Nice. The magnets are a little stronger than the Picasso Tiles but are not overly strong. My 2 year old, 4 year old and 6 year old are all able to manipulate the playmags without a problem. The colors do not have exactly the same hue as the Picasso Tiles but they are still nice and vibrant. I would recommend these.

Perfect compliment to my kids’ other Magnatiles sets. They love the big squares the most and Magnatiles sets don’t come with nearly enough big squares. Here we have 30 of their favorite pieces! Magnets are super strong. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality. Maybe my kids will stop arguing over the 10 squares we currently have now that there are enough to go around.

I am not sure if they don't care about customers or what...I got nearly all red in the box with a few yellow, orange, and blue. ZERO GREEN. ZERO PURPLE. I ordered a second box to see what was up. This box had mostly blue and purple with all the colors, but only 2 RED!!! THIS ISSUE IS NOT AN OPEN BOX THING! This brand will fit with any of the other brand, but the Playmags are much heavy due to larger, stronger magnets. I can hang 4-5 small square Shapemags or Picasso tiles before they break, while can hang 7-8 small square Playmags. Playmags are truly 2x as strong, but there is a trade off. The Picasso tiles and Shapemags are 28g for a small square, where playmags are a whopping 34g! This means they stack just as high in reality. Also my 2year old can't break apart the Playmags as easily because they magnets are too strong for her when in a large stack. We can build super tall towers in either brand, but the Playmags are more firm, where the Shapemags will topple if pushed out of shape. A large platform base of any brand will fix that completely. These Playmags are neon orange, dark hot pink, and neon yellow (blue, purple, green identical to other brands). I kept the mixed box with purple and orange because these colors are not common in other brands.

We never seem to have enough square pieces and this was the solution I needed! I'm pleased with the quality, configuration of only squares and how well they work with my other branded products (MagnaTiles, PicassoTiles and no name brand). Magnets feel just as strong as branded options, very durable. See photo for MT on left, this product on right.

I bought these to bulk out my sons magnatile collection. He likes building mainly with the squares and will run out quickly, these are good value and quality as are much cheaper than the magnatile brand. The magnets hold well and work perfectly with magnatiles. My 4 year old enjoys playing with them.
