Review: Quality walking shoes - These are really nice shoes, basically tennis shoes that don’t look like them. Extremely comfortable and an excellent fit. Well constructed, they should last a good while. Review: Very Comfortable - I have tried many brands of safety boots over the years. My biggest issue has been room in the toe area. I needed a boot that allowed all day wear in tough environments that would involve climbing over machinery and similar. I decided to give these boots a try and I am very glad I did so. First and foremost they are very comfortable. They flex enough to make climbing around on machines no issue. Due to the various environments I may work in, I wanted a boot versus a safety shoe, so that I had some degree of ankle protection. The cherry on top is that these boots have a side zipper. That way once you get the laces adjusted to how you like, simply zip the side to get in and out, no more adjusting laces. For me that is an issue since I frequently have long drives to the work site, and wear comfortable shoes for the commute then have to deal with putting on the boots in the parking lot, sometimes in the rain or snow. Now not an issue. I typically wear a 10.5 wide to 11 wide shoe depending on make. For safety shoes I usualy go a 1/2 size bigger to allow room for my toes due to safety toe. I was worried when I ordered these as they only had the size 11 wide available in the "Try before buy" option. I decided to order figuring the toe area would be tight and I would need to then re-order the 11.5W but to my surprise the 11W fit awesome. I wore them in the office for a full day to test and my feet felt great at the end of the day, absolutely no crowding in toe are or tightness elsewhere. Great Boot. They are also very light in weight as compared to other safety boots I have had over the years. Well worth the money, which is slightly less than the Ariats or Keens I was considering.

Comfortable Tactical Boots at a Reasonable Price
I didn't pay attention that I was ordering the safety-toe version of this boot. I would NOT have chosen that because I don't really need it. They have a composite-toe construction, not steel toe. This is not my first pair of safety toe boots so I understand that they don't flex as well as the non safety models. That makes them a little stiff. Also, the pull loop is a little small for my finger to easily slip into when I need a little help pulling on my boots. Otherwise, I am very happy with these boots in the first month of wear. I have been wearing them for a few hours a day, slowly breaking them in. The boots are not waterproof but I ALWAYS spray waterproofing on my fabric and suede shoes and boots before wearing them. Also, the weatherproofing helps to keep them clean. So far, the traction seems good but I have not tried them while on a wet, slick floor. I will never buy another pair of tactical, hunting, or work boots with lots of padding without the zipper. I also have a pair of UnderArmor tactical boots with the zip side but these are superior. The zipper works great and there is a leather tab with velcro strip to cover the zipper at its highest point. I may add pictures of the insole and the foot bed later. The Reebok website describes the boots as follows: "The EVA midsole, embedded Shock Eliminator heel cushion, and Foot Force® F2A footbed work together to provide all-day cushioning and comfort." I cannot argue with that. I was pleasantly surprised about the heel cushion and the footbed cushioning. Overall, I think the boot is a good looking boot that goes well with khaki shorts and long pants. I would have preferred a little darker khaki, but for the most part these are some good looking boots. Just remember to condition them with suede cleaner and conditioner from time to time and of course, spray them with several coats of waterproofing.

This is a Great Boot. Look how I fixed the tongue.
I work in a steel fabrication facility, so I am on my feet all day. I do at least 10,000 steps a day in an unforgiving environment. These boots held up for two years. The wide selection fit my feet best and of course I put added arch support insoles, and they've been very comfortable and light weight. The only problem is the tongue. Even if you smoosh it down while putting it on, by the end of the day it will sneak out and you have this ridiculously long tongue sticking out, like your trying to resist the 90's, but in an absurd way. So I got sick of it, and made two tiny incisons into the leather on the top of the tongue. Ref. Picture. Snaked the laces through using a piece of wire tied to the aglet of the lace, and then I never had a boot tongue problem ever again. This is my second pair, and I will forever buy this boot. And you should also know that it is pretty waterproof. I pushed the limits a few times and had a little water get in, but we're talking about like walking through water that is almost over the boot, in a mad dash for the car, and it still did a pretty good job.

Shaky quality?
This is the third pair of these boots I've used. This pair was bought in April, started wearing about a month after that so they dont have much time with feet in them. The toe of the left sole has ripped away without abuse. I am tough on boots and will chalk it up to just a bad pair and bad luck but consumers should know that I only have a 66% success rate with this pair of boots. There are much better boots out there for the money.

Workday Warriors for Happy Feet
Workday Warriors for Happy Feet Finding the right work boots feels like a never-ending quest. They're either heavy as lead, pinch in all the wrong places, wear out after a few months, or just generally make you dread putting them on in the morning. My job requires me to be on my feet for long stretches, often in environments where safety is paramount. I needed boots that could stand up to the demands of the workday without leaving my feet screaming by the end of it. After trying a few different brands and styles, I landed on the Reebok Work Duty Rapid Response RB8694, and they've become my workday warriors. From the moment I first laced (or, more accurately, zipped) these up, I knew they were different. They felt surprisingly lightweight for a tactical boot, and the fit was immediately comfortable. The extra-wide composite toe is a lifesaver; it provides the necessary protection without feeling cramped or heavy like traditional steel toes. Knowing they offer electrical hazard protection adds another layer of confidence when I'm on the job. The real game-changer for long hours is the comfort system. The removable Foot Force F2A cushioned insert is fantastic – it provides support and absorbs impact, making a huge difference in reducing fatigue by the end of the day. The combination of durable leather and ballistic nylon for the upper has held up incredibly well to daily wear and tear, and the rubber sole provides excellent traction on various surfaces. And the side zipper? Pure genius. Getting these boots on and off at the start and end of a long shift is quick and easy, saving precious minutes and effort. Once zipped and laced, they feel secure and supportive around my ankles. These boots have significantly improved my comfort and confidence on the job. My feet aren't aching by lunchtime, and I feel well-protected in demanding environments. They've proven to be durable, comfortable, and genuinely responsive to the needs of a long workday. If you're on your feet all day and need a boot that combines safety features, durability, and serious comfort without feeling like you're wearing bricks, give the Reebok Rapid Response a serious look. They're a solid investment in your workday well-being.

Not comfortable at all. Would not recommend.
Probably the worst boots I've ever tried on. I like Reebok. Worn their shoes for many years. Remember Exofits?. But these boots are not good. I'm on my feet all day. I wear a size 10 and have "normal" feet. No wide, flat or high arch issues. No jacked-up toes. Just normal feet. Upon trying on, these boots immediately have no arch support, have a very wide toe box and are very, very stiff. Very cheap feeling. Like something you would expect from Walmart. Tongue is thick and has unfinished edges, making it scratchy where it rubs. Insert is not comfy. Very flat and stiff except for that Reebok logo. It's a thick silicone pad. That feels good, except it highlights the rest of the insert's lack of comfort even more and jacks your heel up in the air. They look great, but I've worn enough boots in my time to know what's good and what's not going to work. I usually wear Magnums or Thorogood. Excellent right out of the box. These are going back. Sorry Reebok. Stick with shoes.
