Craftsman Z510 zero turn with 42 inch deck.
I use these blades on my Craftsman Z510 zero turn mower. I have a 42 inch deck and they fit perfectly. I've been sharpening the blades using a 60 grit flap blade for my angle grinder and it takes off less material while keeping blades extra sharp. I live in a sandy area and have bahaia grass, using the higher lift mulching blades works very well. I have a little over an acre and a quarter to mow and I get about three cuts before I need to resharpen the blades. Doing this keeps the grass from getting snagged and turning yellow from ripping.

Good Stuff
Grass looks beautiful again. These are better than the last set I bought. Grass is very nicely cut n mulched without Grass chunks throughout. Will buy again when needed.

Nice heavy blades
These blades are thicker than the factory blades. Like other reviews said they do come with a heavy coating of paint so the first couple of cuttings aren't the greatest. I haven't really used it on the lawn yet so that review will come later. It did do a decent job mulching the leaves. Be prepared to clean your mower and take a shower when you are finished mulching leaves because with the mulch cover on the mower the exit hole is blocked and the leaves have no place to go and you wind up in a cloud of dust. Good blades over all.

Nice mulch blades they work very well
First set of mulching blades I've ever had on my tractor but they fit my T1100 Craftsman perfect they do seem to mow very well I have noticed that they make a little bit more noise than just standard blades but other than that they mow and mulch just fine

Heavy, balanced blades provide a great cut.
Very nice cut and the these blades. They are thick and balanced. Says no need to sharpen but I do anyway. Just a light touch up with a die grinder with a flap wheel and they sharpen nice. Very happy with the purchase.

Buying a Second Set!
These work better on my Cub Cadet XT1 42” than the OEM blades. I’ve had them a few years and had them sharpened and they came back like new. After using my recently sharpened OEM blades while these were getting sharpened again, I decided I’m discontinuing the OEM blades and getting another set of these for my blade rotation. Night and day. (I change out blades once a season - I have a very large lot.)

I had to replace my old mower deck blades as one of them bend and could not be rebalanced. These blades are noticeably thicker and run true. The sound of the blades running is a little deeper and best of all I easily notice a difference in the level of mulching...especially on leaves :)

was using 'high lift' blades but thought I would try these as some yards got ahead of me this past month. worked really great at going through long grass on max height and then finishing cutting on bias. Not a great use of my time but the blades worked great - Cub Cadet

I will give these blades a 5-star but only as mulching blades. For bagging, I recommend picking high-lift blades instead, as this ones do a mediocre lifting and the mower chute becomes frequently clogged. I have learned this the hard way. The blades are thicker and heavier than the original stock blades (I am using them on a MTD Yard Machines, 16.5 HP riding mower). Mine came well balanced, which lowered almost to zero the vibration I was experiencing with the old ones. They also clip the grass very finely, which is good if you want to mulch or compost. All in all, they are excellent, made in the US blades... but NOT for bagging.
