This is an exceptional product and great value for the high quality item that it is. Everything about it has been thought-out and well engineered. It's easy to carry and easy to pour when filled. If there is a cosmic archetype for inexpensive collapsible buckets, this is it. I have significant experience with other brands of collapsible buckets, fold-up buckets, and plastic pails, most of it bad, so this isn’t exaggeration. I've had several collapsible buckets that required three hands to use effectively or were prone to puncture easily. I think one would have to go through several losers to appreciate why The Friendly Swede collapsible bucket is so much better than most. The bucket is very heavy-duty and excellent quality throughout. In between uses, my unsupported bucket stood upright while empty for 15 days without a sag. I never, as in never ever, had a collapsible bucket do that. It is even sturdier with uniform contents, e.g., water, soil, etc. inside it. The Friendly Swede bucket came bagged in industrial plastic to limit possible shipping damage when bouncing around the shipping box. Many companies don't want to spend the extra few cents per unit to do it right. This reads as a stupid thing about which to comment, but if you’ve ever received something in the mail, or via UPS, or Fed Ex that was wrapped in lightweight plastic and marred, dented, or broken during shipping, you can appreciate the importance of good packaging. At first, I was fussing because I thought the tightly-fitted top lid should snap over the rim. After using the bucket, I realized I was wrong because the collapsible bucket was always going to be on the ground or hanging somewhere and the easy-open design is best for frequent use. The included detachable mesh holder does snap-on to the hard rim and can hold soap, brushes, or dippers, or all of them. It stores inside the flattened bucket after collapsing it for travel or storage, so there’s only one bag to worry about. There’s an added piece on one of the carrying straps that wraps around the middle of the two straps and makes hauling water or other things much more comfortable. Your hand will really feel the improvement over long distances. I like the yellow color because it's highly visible. When I strap it to the outside of a pack, the pack becomes highly visible. The Friendly Swede followed-up via email within 45 minutes of delivery to check on their customer’s satisfaction with the product and delivery; pretty good response time. After buying so many ineffective products that purported to do the same thing as this bucket, I have to say that I’m very impressed with the quality and thoughtfulness that went into production of this item. The Friendly Swede did much quality assurance in providing this collapsible bucket. The very reasonable price-point made it even better. All-in-all, great collapsible bucket; great experience with The Friendly Swede. If in doubt, buy it anyway.

I took a chance on 4 of these buckets based on the photo and description. i picked this container over the others online because it had a lid as well as a mesh baggie and looked sturdily constructed. Having received the product, I have now had a chance to see and handle it. The material used appears to be the same kind of heavy tarp stuff that is used for trucks, not the flimsy stuff i find at wal-mart. It is waterproof. The handles were well balanced when i tested it with approx. 3 gallons of water (leaving room for splashing). I was concerned when i purchased this that the handles would not be able to stand up to rough use and easily rip. Seeing the product, it looks well sewn and if it ever tears, the bucket walls will go with it i think. I predict it will handle all the use i plan to give it. The top of the bucket has a round ring that the mesh bag hooks onto. the bottom of the bucket does not have a supporting rim like the top but once the water was in, it did very well. The lid, which as stated earlier was the deciding factor to choose this product is fairly decent. I don't like the fact that i can wad the lid up into a sort of ball but i will say that the lid edge is reinforced a bit and once in place over the bucket, it took a decent swing to splash out water and even that was minimal. The lid will do the job it was designed for. As a collapsible water container this has some serious merit. I give this a 5 star rating and I am glad i bought this now, because It is worth more than the asking price; at least to me.

I really like my new camping collapsible bucket. I washed it up and it seems well made, light weight and strong. It’s a good size and will fit well in my kayak to go kayak camping. I’d give it 5 stars if the lid and bucket attached somehow. I’ll probably put it in a mess bag to hold them together. Otherwise it’s great.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE The bucket. It really is the best ever. The size is ideal I didn't find many this size in rigid or squishable. It is Awesome! Storage and Versatility.Quality Materials. Functionality Supreme. It is Simply Perfect. Great High quality Materials. Cheery colours. Larger Size is PERFECT! That's how I came upon it with my search. Size over 4gallons/15litres being my search criteria. I initially bought it to use as a laundry soaker - urgent fix from a hubby woopsee wash, 2 near new white net/cotton mesh fabletics Jackets that I adore and 3 hanes mens undershirts..that my dear husband had put in with some bright red sweatpants he just got... and turned all things slightly pink lol... 😝 We moved from Australia not too long ago so there's things I still have to get like this and I am very very happy here. It arrived fast , perfect packaging, perfect everything. Handy FYI : The bucket held the water temp for at least 5 hours. I just used hot tap water and it was still above 'warm' at 5 hours!!! In the laundry with no drafts and the aircon on 69! In the morning the water was not actually cold yet..lukewarm even... Being collapsible means I can get MORE!! Because who has room for storing plastic rigid buckets!! It's literally the best bucket I've ever owned ( words I never thought I'd be saying 😂!) But I am truly that happy and I plan on buying at least 3 more. I do so love to have colorful handy fun things at home. Something I never thought I'd be raving about is a bucket 😂😂 😍but honestly its perfect.

I was a bit terrified to fill this and trust the handles would stay attached as I carried it back to our camp from a faucet, however it worked great. It was surely more weight than I wanted to carry, but the handles stayed on (I put the lid on to avoid splash as I walked). There is a vinyl smell to it - so nothing you want to drink from, however it is great for transporting bath water. Once done a night upside down and it was dry on the inside and ready for storage - love that it takes up so little room. One note - be careful where you set it - it will lean over and lose the contents if not on a level surface.

Okay ... so it does what it says on the can, but it is massively overpriced for what essentially, is thick plastic. When I unpacked it, I realised that I already had something almost identical, only without a lid. This was purchased from a gardening store for collecting the weeds in the garden. It cost under £10. Thus, I don’t think that I can give five stars, as almost £33 was in my opinion, way over the top for what it is.

J'utilise ce seau pour décatir le tissu avant la coupe. Pour éviter que les couleurs dégorgent pendant le lavage en machine et que le tissu ne devienne pas rêche, je fais tremper mon tissu dans l'esu chaude mélangée à du vinaigre. Depuis que j'ai ce seau, je n'ai plus besoin de remplir la baignoire et le couvercle empêche mes chats d'aller jouer dans l'eau de prélavage quand je décatis mes tissus. Quand j'ai fini de décatir mes tissus, je plie le seau et le range dans le placard à lessive. Bref, un excellent investissement quand on doit décatir 6m de tissus sans que les couleurs ne dégorgent !!!!
