Worked fine bolts up to original seat slides , seat is little larger than oem

I bought these seats for my 97 Tj, So far look like there going to be ok except for a couple of minor problems.1st, Between the adapter plate that req & the extra thickness of the cushion my head is right up to the sound bar, I'm going to have to go thru the hassle of taking off the hardtop & relocating the sound bar .2nd, These seats have knobs on the side for recline adjustment which hit the rollbar at the bottom & keep the seats from being able to go all the way back, I'm 6'0" & need every bit I can get.

Seat seems to be well built. I am 6ft 2in so wish the back of seat was taller. Top of seat hits me just below base of my head. Don’t think would be good if hit in rear. Also would prefer a latch for reclining seat over crank. With seat all the way back for my leg room I can not adjust recline and is also more of a pain on passenger seat when getting into back seat. Seat is firm and keeps you in place while driving. 4star because of back and crank recline. Installed in a 97 Jeep Wrangler

It was time.... The old one on my 91YJ was well worn (180K) with the left rail broken and since literally everything else on the ole tub had been replaced /upgraded I thought what the heck, couldn't hurt (actually it was killing me to sit in it after the suspension upgrade) and now the new seat makes me a happy camper. So nice in fact (and thicker as bigger folks have noted) that I replaced the stock steering wheel with a smaller one so I could fit comfortably (OK so I could fit, period lol) I'm 6'4 so.... yeah it's tight. And it reclines all the way down to the back seat so I can snoozeI like Smitty stuff.

Installed in a 1994 Jeep wrangler.

Nice tall back ! Sits kind of high but not a biggie.

Fit easily into my 94 YJ. It's very comfortable, and feels well built. The map pocket in the back is fine. For tall guys, it should be noted that the cushioning on this seat is a bit thicker and firmer than the stock seat, certainly if you've got a couple hundred thousand miles in the old one. When I put the new one in, my head came up and my knees went forward by maybe an inch each. If your jeeps a tight fit already, just be aware of it.

Very comfortable seats, down fall to them is the seat cushion is huge and doesn't allow much leg space between seat and steering wheel ( not a problem if you have tilt wheel). Color was slightly off from the Smittybilt soft top I purchased.
