The shell fits perfectly and provides good protection. I was still able to fit a screen protector on my iPad mini even with the shell on but be careful as it was a very tight fit, although it can be done. The best feature of this case is that the front flap can be removed easily for use when holding the iPad. It can be quite annoying with the cases where the flap is dangling as you are holding the iPad to read things. As advertised, the case can act as a stand for landscape and portrait orientations which is really cool. Simply swivel the magnet to do this. The one downside to this case is that it can't do the orientation where the iPad is slightly angled while on a table top for easy typing. Build quality is excellent as is my experience with Anker products. Overall, this is a great option for those who get annoyed by the front flap of other cases yet still would like the option of using it when, for instance, putting the iPad in a bag. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I freaking love this case *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 11, 2015* I freaking love this case. That fact that the magnet is built into the case and flap is great. I actually prop it up on my fridge to watch movies while I cook. If the cover flap gets in the way while reading or playing games it easily detaches. I FREAKING LOVE THIS CASE!The drop perfection seems to be pretty good. I'm not one to drop any of my electronics but accidents happen. When I did do my ipad the flap didn't open due to the built in magnet and the case protected against the impact so the screen didn't crack.New advised this case and any other case will not work on the ipad mini 4. The 4 is longer than the previous generations. I love the smart cover feature which activates the mini when I open it, the ability to swivel my mini for both landscape and portrait positions and the fact that I can remove the cover when I want to and the magnet will find it's right place when putting it back on. I'm very happy with this product and I looked into a lot of different covers before deciding upon this one. The tough case arrived within a few days of ordering it too.
