Very good 2-player card game with fast setup
It's a folding two-sided board, cards, and a decent set of instructions. That is all. Very quick to set up beyond the need to shuffle cards (when done with a match most people have all the cards in matching suits together, so you need heavy duty shuffling to truly randomize the deck) and then you are off again. Took my wife and I 15 minutes to get everything down to memory and it's not too complicated at all. Matches move fast, almost too fast without the "long version" that includes the purple suit and expedition. We really like this, it's perfect to pull out and have ready in no time and great if you want to take a fast break from another game like Onitama or Star Realms.Forgot to mention the artwork is fantastic, love every bit of it. Even the cards in the same suit have different art each. The cards feel a bit better quality of board stock than your standard cheapo cards at the dollar store, something around "casino quality" maybe. The playing board itself is thick cardboard with good artwork that tri-folds for storage. At the fold points it wants to stand up off the table a little, this will probably wear in over time or if we lay a book on it.At first I was worried when I read about the scoring system but it's not bad. If you don't have your phone with a calculator function then I suggest you get one of those $1 basic calculators at a nearby store to keep in the box with the game, as well as a notepad and pen. These will help you tally up the score at the end of each match. Will not ding the game for not including these because these are basic items that would've driven the price up and many people may already have them. This is just a minor suggestion and not needed. Overall I am surprised how much we all like this game and I am very happy with this purchase.

Super fun, simple to grasp but gets more strategic as you play more, could not stop playing!
So, I was looking for a board game I could play with my girlfriend since we have been getting into those a lot more. When I looked at this game, it looked interesting, and I decided to give it a shot. First of all, the art for the cards is beautiful, especially the ones for the lost expedition that comes with this game. The gameplay is pretty simple: you go on "Expeditions" to one of 5 (or 6) locations. You shuffle the deck, and each card represents a step or finding in an expedition, with a value of 2 to 10.Interestingly, you cannot add cards of a lower value than the one that has already been placed, so for example, if you started with a 5, you cannot put in a four or anything below. Also in the mix are multiplier cards. Now, this all seems reasonable, but an important thing to remember is that an expedition costs 20 points, so you have to be sure that you will score at least this amount or get negative points. This is where the game gets fun; in a turn, you can either place a card, discard a card, then draw a card, or take the top one from any of the discard piles. You have to decide if you want to go in on an expedition, deny your partner from completing theirs, or hope that you will get more cards from the deck and be able to complete your expeditions. It becomes a more engaging game that makes you think about what the other player can or will do. We had so much fun that we kept playing the whole day, and once we started doing the 6th edition, which added 13 more cards, it added more strategy to it. Each game felt fresh since you never get the same cards if you shuffle correctly. It's super easy to set up and fun to play. I recommend this game if you want something to play with someone else!

Not the greatest game ever, but fun
Great game for 2 players. Easy to understand and play. I thought it was going to be more of an "adventure" type game. I was initially a little disappointed that it is just a card game. But it's a fun way to spend quality time together.

Easy to Learn and Fun to Play (Two Person Game)
As my review's heading states. This game is a 2 person game that is fun to play and easy to learn. The game consists of a deck of specialty cards and a foldout board. Because there are no small pieces and because the box is approx 10" x 10" it makes it pretty easy to pack. You can find game demos online that show you exactly how the game plays but essentially you have numbered cards of 5 colors. Your goal is to collect and play highest total points for each color BUT you must meet a minimum quota for each color you choose to play. Failing to meet that quota can result in negative points for that color or round. The person with the highest total after 3 rounds wins. Game plays quickly (approx 20 min).

Fun and Easy to Play
This one had been on our wish list for sometime now. It was easy to play out of the box, has great graphics and would fit in well with multiple party themes, such as tiki, travel, archaeology and others. The board on ours doesn't sit completely flat to the table. It's not warped or anything, it just seems like the built-in creases where it fold to put it in the box need to time to flatten out. I am planning on taking time to press it under a few books to fix the issue. That said, it isn't so much of a slant that you can't play the game. It's just of note since I've never had a board not be completely flat after unfolding. Perhaps it's just an anomoly.

A perfect two player game
I'm always looking for good games for two people, and this one is fantastic. Simple to teach and learn, just enough luck to skill ratio, and can make games longer or shorter just by deciding how many rounds to play (standard is three). Hihgly recommend. Quality packaging and product too.

Simple to learn and still fun.
My fiancé and I love games and struggle to find 2 player board games we enjoy. This game is simple to learn and a nice balance of luck and skill. It’s fairly quick and while the rules say to play 3 hands you can just play 1 if you don’t have much time or lengthen it to more hands if you have all night. I’m not going to say it’s my new favorite game of all time, but this will definitely remain in our rotation of 2 player games for a while.
