It's not very fast but it's not slow. He loves it. It also has a removable body shell with 4 body clips which he thinks is awesome.Comes with 2 NiMH battery packs and a charging lead, but no plug. It fits into any USB socket, for example an iPhone plug. There's no charging advice anywhere on it but it's only a 550maH battery, so I wouldn't think it safe to charge above 1A, which is already 2C. (Charging output should be written on your plug!) There is a red light built into the charge cable which comes on when the battery is full.The 2.4GHz radio actually has pretty good range, I've driven the car around 120m away and still had full control. Any further and you can't see it!There are two things that annoy me with the car - 1. there's a lot of slop in the front suspension setup which makes it practically impossible to get the car running in a straight line. 2. The battery compartment is screwed closed with means you need to carry a screwdriver when you go out if you want to use the second battery pack. (Each lasts around 20 minutes)These two niggles aren't enough to stop me recommending the car though.
