The shams are 4 inches too short and 2 inches too tall (which isn't a big problem except it clearly isn't measured for a queen sized pillow. I am an incredibly analytical shopper. I shopped for days looking for the right duvet cover for my brand new down comforter. I thought I had found the perfect cover and right price. I am terribly disappointed to have to return it. I can't believe it's marketed as queen when clearly it isn't queen sized. If I didn't care, I could probably jam my blanket in there but then it wouldn't be long enough to cover the sheets underneath because we have a pillow top mattress. But, you shouldn't have to read so much fine-print if the product is listed as queen-size.With that aside, I have a platform (no boxspring) queen and the duvet lays nicely on the bed. I didn't feel like spending upwards of $200 for Boll & Branch, a bedding and linen brand that I absolutely love. This was a cheaper alternative that still feels classy looking. After adding a few throw pillows, the size of the shams is less annoying. For the price point I think they quality is good.
