Great tool to have if you’re in the duct side of Air conditioning. Saves a lot of time plus it has a strong magnet to hold the cleat in place.

I bought this tool to see if it was better than the ones I've made over the years. It works great and has a smooth action and doesn't stretch the cleats open. The magnet is a nice feature. I like it better than the cleat tool that has The Swinging lever and creates a locking divot. For those who don't know , this tool is used by sheet metal workers' on transverse duct connections.

Great product I like it even more because it has a magnet so when you’re installing ductwork you’re able to stick the tool on the ductwork and continue working

This is great for installing your TDC cleats on rectangular duct. Very well made product at a fair price. The magnet holds your cleat quite well while you're getting lined up to install it. The color makes it hard to lose, and sets it apart from your coworkers', so they won't nab it on accident. I would recommend this product to anyone installing TDC cleats.

Only way to go

Works well. Magnet is a huge plus. Has one on the handle too, so you can stick it to the duct if you need another free hand. Hook on the end is good for tighter spaces, where you may not otherwise get a cleat on.

It does exactly what it says it’s going to do. It is a great tool due to the small size. It sets clips onto ductmate very well. Fits well into tight spaces
