Decent product but over cooked
I purchased this product because i absolutely love marinated artichokes after working with them in a restaurant in london (belazu was the company we bought from) !!!! the quantity you get is good but the reason why i give it 3 stars only and not 5 is because of these two reasons.1) it needs more salt in the marinating process. i've had to add salt to it myself and mix it together which i didn't expect to have to do.2) they are very over cooked. artichokes hearts should be al dente, firm but cooked. these are way over cooked for my personal taste as i like very al dente things especially my artichokes, i love the crunch of them but if like me that's what you are looking for in these then this is not the product for you!they did come in 2 days of ordering them which i was pleased about.to some people these may be perfect but to others, if your like me these will be a slight disappointment.

Tasty and not over salted!
These artichoke represent great value. You get a lot of hearts for your money and the flavour is good. Some preserves of this type can be hugely over salted; actually worse than drinking sea water! Thankfully, these have 1.2% salt, i.e. plenty; about half the salt content of seawater. You can taste the salt but more importantly, you can also taste the artichoke which is very pleasant. The texture is smooth rather than al dente, which is often the case in Italian osteria where vegetables tend to be slightly less firm than the pasta.
