Type II diabetic and I use this all the time to prevent and cure UTI. Take a half a teaspoon with 6 ounces of water six times a day, especially before you go to bed. Immediately the next day you’ll feel better, then bring the dose down to four times a day, 3 to 4 times the next day etc. after all symptoms have gone do it for a couple more days At 3x day. This is the real thing, true d-mannose, a couple other brands are doing something different, but this one works beautifully and it comes in a recyclable package which is great.Should not affect blood sugar levels as the body does not absorb it, and this is why it goes straight to the bladder and creates a coating, in which the E. coli bacteria cannot cling.

Same fine, fluffy, sweet powder I have gotten from other reputable brands such as Now Foods. Correct taste.It does clump readily (regardless of brand) so keep it as dry as possible. I transferred it to an airtight container and added some dessicant packets.

My 15 year old cat has been plagued with UTIs for the last couple of years. The most recent time she was on two different antibiotics including one long acting injectable, which I found out later could have been deadly. Upon research for an alternative to antibiotics, I discovered D-mannose as an alternative. I started giving her 1/2 teaspoon mixed with a little water and administered using a syringe squirted into her mouth. Within a couple of days, she stopped running back and forth to the litter box, stopped the incontinence(took about a month for that to resolve), and was emptying her bladder completely. It’s been about 2 months now and I continue to administer every 2-3 days as it can’t hurt. She has been in slight kidney failure for about 4 years now, but she seems happier (no continuous meowing), calmer, and more energetic. I will never be without this.

If you want pure D-Mannose and you know how much to take and have a glass jar or container to put it in, get this. You never know for sure, but this seems as pure as I've found and less sweet. If you need explicit directions, a good container and a spoon, this may not be for you. Or save the spoon and container from another brand and then pour this in.

I started taking this for a UTI and it really seems to help things resolve. If I feel like I'm getting a UTI, I take a concentrated dose and drink a lot of water, and it doesn't progress into a full blown UTI.

I found uqora and decided to try the main ingredient by itself. This works. I used it after intimacy and didn’t get a uti and this later helped us heal out female cat from a really bad recurring uti as well.
