If you are searching for simple strap lock (strap block) mechanisms, but are not wanting to spend a lot of money, go ahead and get yourself some of these, you won’t regret it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply a better option than futzing with new screws/posts for Schaller-style locks etc *by M***. on August 18, 2022* To reiterate the headline: "Simply a better option than futzing with new screws/posts for Schaller-style locks etc" On almost every guitar where I've installed hardware-type Schaller-style "strap-lok" systems, there's just something about unscrewing & re-screwing the strap-anchoring screws (or replacing them with the ones provided with the new hardware), those screws seem to eventually develop problems & start to wiggle & work their way to a point where they can slip out & drop your axe HARD. These rubber washers make it nearly impossible for your strap to slip off the original strap posts, even when, as I often do, you wear the guitar across your back, neck-down, like a bow-&-arrow would ride, or something. No mod necessary, rock-solid-secure...the only thing I like better is the D'Addario nylon straps with straight grommets for the strap screws, & mountaineer-style quick-release clips "upstream" from the posts.
