PYREX Heavy Duty Griffin 1003 600mL Beaker Double Scale Graduated; Each

I purchased this beaker in March 2022 instead of a pour-over Carafe. About half the price and more durable. There is a smaller version 1003-400 that would be a better fit for my typical pour-over dosing. The 500ml (600ml to the rim) works well too but rather large for the 320ml of coffee. Works well if you do two back to back brews with a smaller dose. Also some v-60 style brewers might not fit over the rim. The Hario brewer has a sloppy fit but does sit flat and level on the rim. I use the beaker almost every day. The clear glass gives me visual feedback on the brewing process. Scale is optional as I can see when I'm done. What I like most of all is the durability and temperature stability. The glass is thermal stable, no fear of thermal shock. Four years later I'm still very happy with this beaker. The beaker is the start and end of the brew, to the point where I get anxious when I can't find it. I've had the thin wall version (now broken) and bought two of the 1003-600 version for a backup or one in the dishwasher and one on the coffee bar. For Coffee, I recommend the heavy duty version. It is very durable, can handle the clanging and banging about. It can be used for cooking without fear of shattering from thermal shock. it was a good purchase.

Works as advertised and broke a perfect neat hole with no slivers. Don't beat volumetric borosilicate glass beaker with a stainless steel spoon daily expecting it to behave like kitchen glass

Nice thick glass, exactly what I was looking for. According to my scale the measurements are quite accurate. It is an excellent beaker and I would buy it again. Very highly recommended.

I've used this just a few times to make smoothies with my handheld blender, but all is well! The beaker seems to be durable and I tend to trust Pyrex ware, of which, I have used lidded containers for leftovers. I like using glass ware, which can be breakable, but can be cleaned much more efficiently than man-made materials. The beaker is the right size for a single serve smoothie, which is the main function for this purchase.

Seems like it will be a great plastic-free alternative for my immersion blender. The glass is thick and feels durable. Went through the dishwasher well. Fits my immersion blender blade.
