awesome go-to cupwheel
I've ordered this wheel three times now and it's awesome. With skill it can leave a relatively scratch-free honed finish or hog out concrete (or remove coatings) fairly aggressively. The numerous edges make it effective and I suspect it has fairly moderate size grit because it doesn't leave rogue diamond scratches as with bargain basement priced wheels. Reasonable cost, too. I keep a couple on hand and is one of the very few diamond tooling that I repeat buy.

It handled me sanding down 24 concrete pillars to level.
I don't leave many reviews but I saw other people having problems with other discs and thought I'd share my experience. I had 24 concrete pillars I need to smooth and sand down to level. This disc did a great job of all the work needed. I sanded down all 24 of them and by the end it was still able to cut material down. So 5 stars for me.

Not bad, but it did wear unevenly
I think this is a decent wheel for the price. I'm in the resurfacing business, so I go through these diamond wheels. Not bad, but it did wear unevenly. I expect that more from a threaded cup than non-threaded. It will get the job done, if you need to slightly level, and not too bad on thin mil coatings.

aggressive , course grind will take off material quick
I am a stone mason by trade . we had to grind down pitches on flat granite caps and i have never tried this type with the dot pads . I worked great possibly even gave our standard 7" cup a run for its money on the amount it could take off. No problems with it overheating or wearing down .

Great for grinding paint off of concrete!
I have 16 years of decorative concrete prep and resurfacing experience and this is the best diamond cup is the best I have used. Grinds paint off of concrete very well. Does not bog down or get too hot and melt paint like other diamond cups do. I highly recommend this cup!

Aggressive grinding blade with decent value
Decent blade and it can work really well. If it hits anything too hard like a nail or screw, expect it to destroy the blade. Teeth fly off.

Removed Paint from Masonry (Cinderblock)
This is the only disk that removed paint from cinder block for me. I tried many others.Only problem is it wears down fast so get a few. Also it often wears down lower than the brush on the dust shroud, i am not sure how to fix this problem yet.
