We listened t it together, and we both thought it was pretty good, but no where near as great as an episode of This American Life or anything along those lines. Although some of the stories are very charming-- and a couple are touching, well-told tear-jerkers-- there are also a few stories and anecdotes that are mediocre at best. I think this collection is definitely worth listening to, especially for the few really beautiful stories, but if I had it to do over again I would have maybe given this to my husband as a just-because-present instead of making it a Father's Day present.Just to reiterate, we liked this collection and I don't regret my purchase whatsoever, but I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 b/c the stories are so varied in quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Peaceful driving stories *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2014* I bought this for my fiance for Christmas and we both love it. He likes listening to the stories because they remind him of his father and he can relate because he is a father as well. I like listening to the stories because they're all very sweet and each one is unique. I wasn't an NPR listener before, but I think I might start listening after purchasing this CD set. The only problem is that we went through the stories so fast and were done with the 2 discs after only a few days! They will be nice to keep in the car for long rides and the set is a great memento for dads.
