Got an old laptop that isn't worth spending money on but could still be useful as a backup server or something like that but it needs some replacement parts to actually function. That's why you look for a cost effective battery or something like that. Most laptops will throttle the performance down to bare bones levels if they have no battery, or the battery is completely shot. Even if the computer is plugged in to wall power, it doesn't know what its power source is really able to do and if it the computer draws too much power it might exceed the capacity and fault out. With a battery the computer knows it has power in reserve and is able to operate properly. I had just that situation. Installed Linux on that machine which had become nearly useless while running windows. but the battery was gone and so even with the lightweight OS the performance of the computer was extremely poor. Replaced the battery just to get it back up and running again as a jellyfin media server. I had a problem however, The battery was recognized by the computer, it would run off the battery, but the computer would not charge the battery and the performance problem remained. I contacted the company via Amazon and they were excellent at taking care of me. No run around, no excessive questions or making me try 20 different things (I had already tried a couple different power supplies to ensure that wasn't the problem). Company sent out a replacement battery right away. I had it within a few days and I now have a computer with total new life in it, its charging its battery and working great now! At this price point (compared to Dell especially) I'm not concerned about an occasional glitch in a product. What matters is that they responded quickly, took care of me right away, and made it right. The battery itself looks every bit as high quality as the OEM, clicks right into place without any problems. couldn't be happier.

I received the battery on time and installed it and let it fully charge overnight. It performed evry bit as well as the one that came with the laptop pc. The run time was just as good. Then suddenly, after about six and a half months of service, it just completely died. it would not charge and the PC displayed error messages the the battery was bad. I emailed TCORE about it and in a week I had a new replacement battery. I did not have to return the bad battery. The new battery is also working as well as the original. Time will tell if it last as long as it should. The warranty period is two years, which I think is generous enough. If not for the failure, I would have given an overall rating of 5 stars. TCORE stood by their ptoduct and made it right...

It charged once and only once and never charged again. I thought I got a new battery except Amazon decided to send me an old, crappy, used battery apparently. Because when it got low, I plugged my computer in and the computer was plugged in and the battery charged. Unplugged when battery reached 100%. It got low again, plugged in the computer, and this time, the battery didn't charge. Tried to ask for the replacement which Amazon did process a replacement order through, but now I'm probably going to end up charged by Amazon for both a defective battery and a potentially working battery which might be defective again anyway. Why? Because they didn't send me any information about how to do the UPS drop-off. That's not my fault and I am going to be contacting an Amazon service rep and letting them know that they are not to charge me for their faults.
