GaiamEssentials Yoga Brick EVA Foam Block Accessories for Yoga, Meditation, Pilates, Stretching - 2 Pack

It's square. A colorful (pretty!) block of the same foam used in other yoga blocks. Manufacturer's name embossed in block. Lightweight, standard size, no serious odors. Works with yoga videos. Arrived timely & undamaged. Could use for something other than yoga, use imagination. Would buy again. (In a few years.)

I have a few sets of these blocks from Gaiam and they do what they're supposed to help you in your practice. The foam material is soft so they often come with indentations from the packaging. Usually no big deal, but both of these blocks had small slices in them (see photo). I would return them, but it's cosmetic and won't affect how they work. Also noticed these blocks are not as dense as other Gaiam blocks I've purchased, perhaps because they're from the Essentials line? You may notice a little more give when using them in your Down Dog.

They are a bit softer, thicker and softer than many others that I bought, but I like them a lot. for that price the quality is incredible.They may not give you as much stability to do some balance positions and arm strength on them (hardest blocks are better to do that stuff) but for all adaptations of other positions, it is perfect. I was looking for them like that, so they are great. In addition, the weight is very light, you can take them anywhere without fear of carrying weight.

This block provides great stability and is very durable. I weight over 200 lbs and it is able to support my weight. It is also easy to clean and priced very reasonably. I have had it for a few months now and have absolutely no complaints

Firm but just the right amount of give so that it doesn't hurt the hands.Surprised by the light weight of each but still very sturdy. Highly recommend!

I purchased this because of the reviews. It is much smaller than my other block. It is not the standard size in terms of width..height is the same. A little flimsy but it does the job

I love the colour and was looking for a smaller block that would not over elevate me during some poses, like under my back as I am under 5'5 and don't like the 'one size fits all' blocks. It's exactly perfect for that purpose.
