BETOOLL A-Frame 2 Brackets Swing Set Bracket with Mounting Hardware (Green)

I recently purchased the BETOOLL A-Frame Swing Set Brackets, and I am really impressed with their quality. The brackets are solid and sturdy, providing excellent support for my swing set. The material feels durable, and I have no doubt these will last for years. The assembly process was straightforward — everything was included, and the instructions were easy to follow. I had the swing set up in no time. The mounting hardware fits perfectly, and everything feels securely in place. Good value and very sturdy. Took about 1 hour to assemble. Previous reviewers and the product photos note the holes for the 4x6 are not properly located. Seems the mfg took care of this as our brackets have the holes located in the corners. The included lag bolts are galvanized which some reviewers noted is not correct for pressure treated lumber. The chemicals in the pressure treated lumber will cause the bolts to corrode and potentially fail over time. Use of stainless or ceramic coated bolts would correct this problem, but will add cost. If this is a concern, you might price Stainless hardware or consider using non pressure treated lumber. The bolts were about 3/8 diameter by 2 inch long, a 13 mm socket fit the head of the bolt best, so they are likely metric, but this isn’t a rocket ship. The 4x6 fit very snug into the bracket and one side required a bit of encouragement from a mallet. We actually resorted to a 2lb sledge with a scrap piece of wood as a buffer to prevent damage to the bracket and its nice paint. Very happy with this product. Some ceramic coated or stainless lag bolts is really the only improvement needed. Note: fresh pressure treated lumber will be wet and swollen, you might need to shave some material off the ends of the 4x6 to make it fit in the brackets or purchase dry lumber. update: Several months in and it still looks and functions as it should. Plan on burying the legs or use earth anchors if your kids are more than 50lbs and/or like to swing high. It will wobble a bit with larger kids, not dangerously, just potentially concerning for some weak hearted parents, the kids actually enjoy it rocking a bit.

Excellent quality! You'll need four 4x4x8 and one 4x6x12 to put up a swing set with 3 swings. Instructions were provided which also show you the lumber requirements. I was able to stand up a swing set for my grand daughter in less than an hour after also purchasing mounts and swings to go with these brackets. The brackets offset the legs perfecting. You'll still need to secure legs to the ground using anchors.

Great way to build a playset for the kids. Easy to put together with standard lumber. Works great and very sturdy. Looks clean and professional. Very happy with this product.

They were not easy to fit over the 4x6 and required sanding and a lot of hammering. Otherwise a great product and it made assembling a swing-set extremely easy.

Love it , it was better than purchasing a whole playground. I was able to purchase the wood i wanted so I know its going to be very sturdy. The measurements are right the wood fits perfectly if you put it at the right angle otherwise it feel like it doesn't fit.

Heavy duty with soft lag screws no grade on head . Snapped one off. Had to re-drill a new hole. Other than that very good.

Easy to assemble the swing set with these brackets. No cutting necessary. I would purchase these again if I built another swing set for grandkids.

The product seems strong and well built. However, I had posts delivered 4 x 4 and 6 x 4 as specified, I expected the receiving slots to be 4 inch square on the inside. However, they are not they are just shy of a 1/4 of an inch on each edge too small. ( on 4 x 4 slots) So you must trim each post end, now this is real pain if you do not have the tools for trimming. I have seen others post that it was easy to knock in, I can only assume you did not have exact 4 x 4 posts. I find this totally illogical, I am UK based and a 4x4 post is a very common posts size and used for decking etc. Why not make a bracket they slide into? In fact why say they do? Then ship all the way to the UK for me to find out, they do not? I am now going to have to do the trimming as sending back to the USA will be a royal pain in the !! So just be aware that you should have the tools to trim, or get your post supplier to take off the required amount. Maybe get the bracket and take with you to order if it is a local company, sadly I did not.

So I purchased these for our potential tire swing we will be building in the spring. I've had a chance to look at the quality of the brackets and they are 100% solid. They are guys selling tire swings for $1,000 and the only thing that they're not including is the lumber or the swing itself which is not all that much. If you want to build your own tire swing or rope swing this is what you need to start with for sure.

Bracket quality is amazing.... however 1 slight drawback is The measurements of 4x4 and 6x4 is the outer measurements for your bracket, while the wood is the same so I had to buy a plainer to trim down the wood. Would have been good if you had rather specified the inner dimensions as this is what is critical or order to wood correctly.

I bought these brackets from the USA to make my son a swing set for his birthday but guess what - no one stocks 4 x 6 timber in Australia so they are useless. Also, the insides of the brackets are welded uneven and have been put together poorly. Will be posting back to next week.
