Perfect What I Needed
My phone isn't listed as a supported device but my samsung galaxy grand prime had mirroring so I opted to try it and couldn't be happier. I do not have cable or wifi so I use only netflix.Set up was very easy. I took it out plugged the power adapter in then the hdmi cable to the monitor, however, the only way it connects is through the pin code method. The first thing that should happen is the screen should light up on youth with a all share cast screensaver. If this doesn't happen it is your tv not cooperating. I have a 26" vizio hdtv and it worked fine. After my monitor was connected I opened screen mirroring on my phone and it instantly finds the dongle. I touched and held that selection and after a few seconds it assm if i would like to connect through pin code method. I selected that and a pin code was displayed on the tv. Typed it in my phone and after a minute my ph ones screen pops up. Yes! Netflix? It's perfect. There is no freezing or lag between the video and audio. It was perfect. Couldn't be happier.

Nice, But Has It's Issues
I like this but it bothers me that there's so much interference in the connection. I often get an error message that the mirroring between my phone and tv is unstable. That can be frustrating while trying to watch a good movie. When the connection is stable it's a wonderful thing.

Great product for Note 4's
just received this little guy yesterday. I could not be more happy with a product. It lived up to it'sclaims. Great product for Note 4. Great jog Samsung. You rock!!!!! This should be a 10 star. For those that have the Note 4, all you got to do is plug this in to power, HDMI to you tv, going toyou settings under WiFi, look for mirror casting, scan, and enjoy. Very simple to use. You do not needto down load any apps to make it work. Say good buy to those wires from your phone to your TV. Well I hope thatyou all find these words a blessing. God bless us all!!!! God is good all the tIme. Pastor Wayne

Kind of mostly good, but could be better
Okay so I got this because Google Cast isn't the best at screen mirroring. My Internet isn't the greatest and since all this is through WiFi there is often bad lagging or audio mishaps. So I figured why not, I have an S6 and a Tab A from Samsung, surely their piece of kit works better, right?Kind of mostly, but sort of not really. So it JUST does screen mirroring, which is awesome and useful, but for 35 and a Chrome Cast I get apps I can directly cast to my TV. The screen mirroring for all intents and purposes is just a bonus perk. But still, I can actually CHANGE SETTINGS through a dedicated app on the Chrome Cast. You don't get that option here and it's actually making me very mad. I have very little control of this thing.Another issue is that It's just on all the time, and it gets very hot to the touch just idling all day. It turns into a miniature furnace when you're actually using it: there's not a single vent hole on this thing. There's no auto shutoff, there's no power button. You just unplug it and plug it back in (or use the USB port in your TV to power it which turns it off when the TV is off, but I only have the 1 usb port and thats for my Chromecast).Like I said earlier there is no real way to control this thing from your device. I'm currently having an issue where the "dongle" won't update on my Tab A, but somehow it updated when I connected my S6? Okay so wait, is my DEVICE updating, or is the dongle?! Because it straight up says dongle firmware, not "debice". Apparently it's my phone's Allshare software (again, I have no control over this, it just has a barebone connect option, no settings, no update, nothing) and it will let me cast from my phone now, but the update refuses to install via my tablet. So then I'm like okay fine, Google it. Only there's no answers there. So then I say okay fine screw it, I'll just proceed without the update. NOPE! It just crashes on my tablet without the update now. When it works it works great, much better than my Chromecast as far as screen mirroring is concerned. But due to the heat it will freeze and die after a few hours, then you have to pull the plug and let it sit and cool off for a while. So for 50 bucks I have a piece of equipment that replaced a MUCH better micro usb to HDMI option that was cheaper and DIDN'T rely on fickle wireless (oh imagine that the new Samsung devices don't support the cable option anymore). But there's no app to control any settings, or updates, or power settings. There's no standby mode or an off switch for the thermonuclear device: not a single vent hole. It also doesn't treat any of my devices equally like my Chromecast does (which even works with my Note 10.1 (2012).So I don't know. Its kind of an okay buy, but I expect ACTUAL functionality and options out of stuff like this these days. I mean come on, no app?! A hole or two in the case?!

Not the best
I have the newest phone which is The Galaxy Note 5, and since day one of receiving this it has a hard time connecting to my phone. And when it does connect, within 30min it starts to really lag and I have to disconnect and restart it to get it not to lag so badly. It will disconnect from your phone randomly as well. Unfortunately for me I have to take what I can get since the phone I have is so new there is no other options for me out there when it comes to a device connecting me to my TV.

... Black Friday I bought what I thought was a Smart TV from Samsung
Last Black Friday I bought what I thought was a Smart TV from Samsung. To my surprised could not mirror some of my other devices on it. I did the research and found out that that particular model did not support mirror screen of some devices. I found this hub and it does the job well. If you think you are buying a smart TV make sure you ask the salesperson and have him show you that it does. I could have paid a little more and get a true smart TV. Now, having said that this hub will do the job very well with any Samsung TV.

I was excited to order this, it started ok but it seems like i have to constantly restart or unplug and connect just to get it to work right. Its either the volume is not up to speed with the picture or its freezing, i would like to enjoy streaming from my phone. If it had better connectivity this would be an amazing product until then it annoying, u cant enjoy it, i actually want to send it back for a refund.

Good tool for streaming
Pleased that I may have found a product that works for streaming online video to tv. Thought it sounded pricey but that it works well with either the phone or tablet...good. Have noticed a little lag between phone and picture but not enough to worry about.Today I answered a question regarding this and yes! It will work with the Samsung S6 Edge+; had to go into settings to find it because it wasn't marked to be on the application bar, but mine is now!
